works during her time and yet manages to command a
legion of fans around the world. Her timeless stories have
been turned into a plethora of movies, television shows,
and modern adaptations in addition to being translated into
multiple languages to cross cultural boundaries. Today she
remains as popular as ever and is revered as much as any
literary figure in the history of the English language.

Persuasion Pride and Prejudice
The reawakening of love
between Anne Elliot and
Captain Frederick Wentworth,
whom eight years earlier she
had been persuaded not to
marry.
It Centers on the burgeoning
relationship between Elizabeth
Bennet, the daughter of a
country gentleman, and
Fitzwilliam Darcy, a rich
aristocratic landowner.

daughter of Sir Walter Elliot,
from a socially important
family.She balances duty and
passion in a composed and
respectful way.
Elizabeth Bennet:The second
daughter in the Bennet family,

and lively wit enable her to
rise above the nonsense and
bad behavior,pervade her
class-bound society.

Kellynch Hall, Uppercross
Manor, Lyme, and Bath. The
setting follows Anne Elliot's
movements from the country
to Lyme to finally joining her
father and sister in Bath.
Set in rural England at the
turn of the 19th century, and
it follows the Bennet family,
which includes five very
different sisters.
