This document discusses community connection and online meetings. It provides examples of how online meetings can supplement face-to-face meetings, be used as a teaching tool, allow for on-demand or virtual meetings, and be more economical by reducing travel costs. It also describes two programs: YELP which trains youth to teach basic computer skills, and a Community Communication Portal which will provide online meeting tools, training, and resources for community organizations. Currently, they are training youth, creating content and a portal, and working on marketing. They welcome sharing updates and resources through a blog and portal.
