2. THESIS
Comic Books have been changing throughout history, they have been
changing when we weren't looking and they have been constructed into
different forms of art, from the funny pages to super heros.
3. Personal Relevance
The reason why i chose Comics is because I have been a fan
since I was a child and have always wanted to know more,
and to produce my own.

4. Research Slides
• many.. with citations on the bottom. (for
information and images.)
• approximately 12-20 minutes
11. APPLICATION
The Area design was
annoying because i
wanted to use a sort
of realistic effect and
take some of the
worlds actual places
and make them in
the comic.
12. APPLICATION
The Placement of text
is a hard thing to
figure out because it
cant cover all of the
picture and it cant
be hidden.
13. APPLICATION
The Cover page isn't
that hard but it has
to be a very
interesting picture
with a title on it and
a list of the
artists(which is me).
14. CLASS ACTIVITY
For my Class Activity I am going to
show the class my method for developing
a character
approximately 5 minutes (or more)
Hello i am vincent bold and my Senior Graduation Project is on Comics. \n
Comic Books have been changing throughout history, they have been changing when we weren’t looking and they have been constructed into different forms of art, form the funny pages to super heros. Most people don’t know that comics originated from a simpler art form\nand that they are named after the meaning Comedic. \n
My dream was to make a company that was able to compete with Marvel and Dc\nwhich are the two biggest comic book companies producing comics right now. I’ve always just wanted to produce a comic book because in my eyes it is one of the best ways to portray a story.\n
\n
\n
\n
For my application i designed my own comic book, it took a long time to produce because right now i have so many distractions and so many obligations that keep me away from it. \n
What took me the longest amount of time was the minor details because i already had my main character and the story line so it didn't take long to figure that out. What drove me crazy was making the perfect creatures they were a key concept of my story because they had to be fearsome and destructive. \n
The shirt designs are for my secondary character who is my main characters love interest. It was a hard thing to make because i had to make up my own bands because i didn't want to bring in any bands so i made up my own bands and logos. \n
The Creatures were a big deal but a small part, they had to be fierce and destructive. they couldn't take up to much space in the comic because they weren't ever lasting. A very hard part of this comic is coming up with names for the creatures because they had to match and if they didn’t than i would have to reconstruct them.\n
The Area design was annoying because i wanted to use sort of realistic effect and take some of the worlds actual places and make them in the comic. The biggest problem is that most of the places didn’t match the way i wanted them to so i changed them and had to make them make sense.\n

My class activity is a very fun activity, what I want to do is show everyone my designing style and to compare them to other styles, they are all very similar but each different as well. \n
