LISC Quality of Life Planning
The Chicago office of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) retained Camiros to prepare strategic “quality-of-life plans” to guide programming for three CDCs operating in separate Chicago neighborhoods. The three CDCs and their neighborhoods are: 1) The Resurrection Project in the Pilsen neighborhood; 2) the Woodlawn Investment and Preservation Corporation in the Woodlawn Neighborhood; and 3) the Southeast Chicago Development Corporation in the South Chicago Neighborhood. Each CDC had achieved some success in promoting residential development within their respective neighborhoods. However, each was fulfilling only a portion of their mission. Lacking in the CDC’s activities were initiatives that would improve the overall quality-of-life within the neighborhood, which was needed in order to foster broad-based and sustainable neighborhood improvement. Camiros prepared a strategic action plan for each CDC that presented a specific program of projects to be undertaken. A step by step work plan was prepared to guide each CDC through the multi-year program. Camiros’ work emphasized practical, real-world project programming with the understanding that LISC intends to fund each CDC with $3-4 million to carry out the program.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software Fuzzing
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

- 6. PHONES OF THE FUTURE With the way and speed that our technology has increased I think that in 10 years our cell phones wont even look like a phone. I predict that they will be have small and wont even have a screen on them, and to use them they will shoot out a holograph screen and key board. As our older generation didn't’t grow up using cell phones and most are scared of technology, I think once they are all gone that the whole structure of cell phone will began to change.

TECHNOLOGY IN THE CLASSROOM The social learning theory states that people learn within a social concept such as modeling and observation and I believe that educators will use technology to help teach in this manor. Many schools have adopted the iPad into the classroom to help keep kids interested and give them all the resources needed to sufficiently learn.
- 9. NEXT GENERATION OF STUDENTS In the next 10 years I believe that there will no longer be text books in the classroom, and most of the teaching will be done from a computer. Everything will go paperless and most of the distractions in the classroom will be eliminated. I imagine that every student will have there own device that is specially made to suit there learning style. They face of education will change drastically with the integration and eventual take over of technology in the class
