This document discusses potential technological advancements in the near future, including:
- The development of an "iTV" equipped with an AI assistant called "Tiri", similar to Siri, that can perform tasks like waking users up and providing information.
- A new form of social media focused on sharing live video updates through smartphones.
- Online schooling becoming the norm, with students receiving tablets and attending classes through video conferencing instead of physical classrooms.
- These changes reflect growing dependency on technology for tasks and social interaction, with new technologies adopted as they provide benefits to consumers.
Technology can be good in many ways but sometimes it can be bad when you don’t use in a right way. The purpose of this paper is to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of technology that change or effects our life in one way or another.

Technology Affecting the learning Behavior of ChildrensRupa Bhowmik
It’s important to come together as parents, teachers and therapists to help society “wake up” and see the devastating effects technology is having not only on our child’s physical, psychological and behavioral health, but also on their ability to learn and sustain personal and family relationships. While technology is a train that will continually move forward, knowledge regarding its detrimental effects, and action taken toward balancing the use of technology with critical factors for development, will work toward sustaining our children. While no one can argue the benefits of advanced technology in today’s world, connection to these devices may have resulted in a disconnection from what society should value most, children.
We need to understand the ways technology is impacting our children, and how to encourage the right use of technology so it can have a positive effect on their behavior and development, as opposed to a negative one
My final project I wanted to mix a bunch of our current technologies into a new way using the theories we have discussed during the semester. I didn’t want to make the new technologies too high tech, because we need to think 10 years isn’t that long. How far have we come in 10 years? So I stuck to technologies that we have today, but added realistic traits to each. After I created these new technologies I added the theories in and how they relate to each advancement.

Complexities of Practical Web AutomationYury Puzis
Web automation, a process of automating browsing actions on behalf of the user, has the potential to bridge the divide between the ways visually-impaired and sighted people access the Web. The proliferation of portable small-screen devices (smartphones, smart watches, etc.) presents both an opportunity and a challenge for the development of a new generation of automated non-visual user interfaces for sighted users. The goal of this paper is to provide guidance for the designers of future user interface automation systems. In this paper, we systematize and analyze the complexities involved in building a practical, usable, and accessible system for web automation. We review the published literature and present lessons learned from the authors’ own years of experience in developing novel approaches to web automation for visually-impaired Web users.

The World in 2030
Technology has been rapidly changing over the last five years in every field of the life. This growing of technology change our life completely, and not always in good way. However, much of technology make our life much easier. Technology make the world smaller. By using technology we can communicate with other people worldwide with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. With all of technology that was introduced, it is difficult to imagine what will technology allow us to do in the future more than now.
Technology has made many tasks easier, For example, computer makes every work are done by clicking the mouse and easier way without costing much effort. In technology, computers allow teacher to communicate with students and parents even out side the class. Computer make students learn by them self. According to Michio computer will be much cheaper in the future. In addition, the internet access will be very cheaper. That is mean the internet will be every where. Digital divide will no longer the issue. Every one will have his\her own computer with the access of the internet. Education technology will improve more than we see it nowadays. The schools will have many computers with internet access even in the poor countries.
Another task that technology make it easier for us is communication. Internet allows us to have an apportoneties to communicate and connect with different people in different countries. In education, internet allows teacher around the world to share their experiences with other. It also let people exchange idea and even teach other. The most obvious example of that social networking sites. In the future, according to Michio the communication will be improved with optic web interfaces beginning with eye glasses and then contact lenses. There will be also smart wall paper wich will enhance our communication. The smart wall paper will make even touching attainable. It will allow us to have a dinner with our friends from different cities by having video conferences. In education that would be a good way for teachers world wide to have meeting and share experiences and idea without cost money of paying flight ticket and pay for the hotel.
We see now how technology make people move from area to other in easiest way. By GPS system people canknow their accurate direction for travel wither they are travelling locally or globally. Epistemic Interaction - tuning interfaces to provide information for AI supportAlan Dix
Paper presented at SYNERGY workshop at AVI 2024, Genoa, Italy. 3rd June 2024
https://alandix.com/academic/papers/synergy2024-epistemic/
As machine learning integrates deeper into human-computer interactions, the concept of epistemic interaction emerges, aiming to refine these interactions to enhance system adaptability. This approach encourages minor, intentional adjustments in user behaviour to enrich the data available for system learning. This paper introduces epistemic interaction within the context of human-system communication, illustrating how deliberate interaction design can improve system understanding and adaptation. Through concrete examples, we demonstrate the potential of epistemic interaction to significantly advance human-computer interaction by leveraging intuitive human communication strategies to inform system design and functionality, offering a novel pathway for enriching user-system engagements.

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

Elevating Tactical DDD Patterns Through Object CalisthenicsDorra BARTAGUIZ
After immersing yourself in the blue book and its red counterpart, attending DDD-focused conferences, and applying tactical patterns, you're left with a crucial question: How do I ensure my design is effective? Tactical patterns within Domain-Driven Design (DDD) serve as guiding principles for creating clear and manageable domain models. However, achieving success with these patterns requires additional guidance. Interestingly, we've observed that a set of constraints initially designed for training purposes remarkably aligns with effective pattern implementation, offering a more ‘mechanical’ approach. Let's explore together how Object Calisthenics can elevate the design of your tactical DDD patterns, offering concrete help for those venturing into DDD for the first time!
2. “It has become appallingly obvious that our
technology has exceeded our humanity. ”
Albert Einstein
3. When Einstein said these words, he had no
idea what the world of technology would be
like today.
And although we have somewhat of an idea
what technology will be like for the future, we
really don’t know either….
5. With the new iPhone 4s and the convenience
of having your assistant, “Siri” available 24/7,
Apple wanted to expand their empire even
more.
Forget the “old” interactive television with
social networking sites available…
6. Yes, Apple will develop an “iTV” equipped
with a “Tiri”…Siri’s brother.
“Tiri” will have among many of the same
capabilities that Siri does, but along with
internet being available to let you experience
Facebook, Twitter, NetFlix, etc at any hour,
Tiri will have many other features.
7. “Tiri” will be able to wake you up in the mornings, just
ask him before you go to bed and set a time.
He will also have it on your desired channel after you
wake up.
The day’s weather will be read to you, as well as hourly
upon your request.
If you’re in a rush in the morning, just tell Tiri the night
before what you need to do in the morning, and he will
also read you your To-Do list before leaving for work.
9. “The emergence of mobile phones with video
capability and small video cameras has led to mass
distribution of video. In effect, we have a thousand
eyes, a thousand screens, a thousand flowers
blooming in a democracy of media, a thousand
aspects (as in analytical cubism), a thousand
Zapruders filming an assassination, and, perhaps, a
thousand monkeys trying to make a useful video.
The emergency of YouTube is an excellent example.
A search for ‘‘Obama inauguration’’ results in 32,800
videos about the presidential inauguration by
thousands of people who were able to film the
same event at the same time from different
perspectives.” (Cowley, 2010)
11. We have become more and more dependant
on technology as the years have gone by.
With a phone with limited capablities, the
television is a new route that we can depend
on while at home.
“Resources and goals” of the consumer will
be met through this technology, which
creates a dependency relationship. (Grant &
Meadows, 2010)
13. Statuses, and tweets have become a thing of
the past as video sharing evolves.
YouTube, with a twist we’ll call it for now.
A website is developed that is strictly people
sharing what they’re doing in that exact
moment, at whatever time of the day…via
video.
14. Comment, share and become “vidfriends”
with people all around the world, all with the
convenience of your iPhone.
How will this be possible?
15. “By mid 2008, the top seven social networking
sites attracted 279 million unique worldwide
visitors, representing a 51 percent growth rate”
(Grant & Meadows, 2010)
People have been willing to adopt new
technologies over the years, and a new social
networking site with video capabilities is what
they will turn to.
Why?
16. People learn how to “do” technology by
watching others.
Notice how most of our parents have
Facebook accounts now, because they
learned from us.
Since YouTube is already established, most
people have learned how to upload videos, so
it will take society to teach them how to use
this new social networking site.
17. The people ultimately decide which
technology goes and stays in the world.
Many people are happy with YouTube and go
to this site often to upload videos or to search
for a variety of things.
With people advancing in mobile technology
and liking this, uploading videos will be easy
and therefore, the new video social network
site will likely flourish.
18. Ok, so a new TV and new developments in
home video…what about technology when it
comes to lifestyle changes?
19. With the online course selection in colleges
across the world becoming popular in the
2000’s, education takes a leap forward in
2022.
Primary, Middle School, and High Schools
have all caught on to this trend, but upon
registration to attend school, provide their
students with the latest tablet.
20. Students no longer have to physically come
to school anymore, saving parents gas
money, and reducing costs of education.
Online books, notes, interactive activities,
and more importantly video conferencing
allows teachers to see every student in their
class during their entire lecture with a live
video feed.
21. With some students not being old enough to
stay by themselves at home, the school has
an app that allows the students to order their
lunch from a selection, and the school will
deliver it to them for their lunch break.
Parents will no longer need to worry about
transporting their children to and from
school, with the ease and convenience of
video conferencing classes.
22. With the parents’ cry for help to the
government with gas prices being so high,
and the students’ needs for a quality
education, this technology is the answer.
How will this work?
23. With the demands of students and parents,
this brings dependency on technology to a
whole new level.
Interaction orientation is utilized in this case
because people will be learning a form of
media in order to socially interact with
others. (Grant & Meadows, 2010)
24. With people using this new technology to
make education easier for everyone, it will
take some risk for people to be willing to try it
out first.
Like all beginning technologies that are now
successful, it’s going to take really big
contributions by people that will in the long
run benefit the common good.
25. So with what the future holds for us,
ARE YOU READY?
