This workshop will introduce basic concepts related to collaboration especially tied to collective impact, and collaborative change. Particular attention will be paid to the work of alignment with partners as part of strategic planning and development of shared visions. At the end of the program, the participant will have the ability to identify and justify the application of collective impact from the point of view of the NSF framework. The participant will understand the importance and impact of the multi-stakeholder approach and the benefits of aligning vision, mission, and goals with their different organization and partners as well as the possible opportunities and challenges associated with such alignments the change and its impact in the long term for the development of their own organizations.
