- The patient is a 62-year-old male from Seychelles with a history of autoimmune hemolytic anemia (AIHA) who presented with progressive neurological symptoms over several months. - Imaging showed multiple hemorrhagic and ischemic brain infarcts. He was initially diagnosed with CNS vasculitis but did not improve with treatment. - He is now being evaluated at a hospital in Sri Lanka. Further workup showed herpes simplex virus type 2 meningoencephalitis. Differential diagnoses include CNS vasculitis, tuberculosis, and paraneoplastic disorders.
