Velma's Dream is an initiative of the Catholic Women's League of Canada (CWL) and Catholic Near East Welfare Association (CNEWA) to support Christians in the Holy Land. It aims to help Christian institutions that serve the poor and marginalized in Israel and Palestine, through supporting an infant welfare center in Jerusalem and Shepherd's Field hospital in Beit Sahour. CNEWA is the Holy See's official Catholic relief agency, working in the Middle East and Northeast Africa to serve all, regardless of religion or ethnicity. The document encourages supporting Holy Land Christians through prayer, education, pilgrimage, and donations to Velma's Dream via CWL or CNEWA Canada.

Fetzer Institute Survey on Love and Forgiveness in American Societyfetzerinstitute
At a time when significant emphasis is placed on the issues that divide Americans, the Fetzer Institute’s “Survey of Love and Forgiveness in American Society” reveals the commonalities that bind us together. The report uncovers the deeply held beliefs and attitudes individuals have about love, forgiveness, and their connection to the world beyond our borders. The Fetzer Institute commissioned the research in 2010 in an effort to explore these complex topics that are central to its mission and to learn more about where love and forgiveness are present in American life.
Full presentation on the relationship between love, anger and forgiveness. As the most powerful of the three, love pervades the other two. In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
