CMYK refers to the four ink colors - cyan, magenta, yellow, and black - used in printing presses and some inkjet printers to reproduce full-color images. These inks are applied in thin layers of dots that combine optically to create the full spectrum of colors. CMYK is the most common full-color printing process, where color images are separated into the four color values and then sequentially printed using the colored inks to reproduce the original image.
