â€ĸ To be: am. Is, are, was, were, be, been, being
â€ĸ
â€ĸ To Have: have, has, had, will have, shall have, and having
â€ĸ
â€ĸ To Do: do, did, does, done, doing, will do, and shall do
â€ĸ
â€ĸ Others(Modals): will, would, shall, should, can, could, may, might, must,
going to, have to, ought to etc.
USE OF AUXILIARY VERBS
TO BE: AM. IS, ARE, WAS, WERE, BE, BEEN, BEING
â€ĸ Use-1: Any continuous tense without ‘to be’ is impossible. That means, the
first duty of ‘to be’ is to make any verb continuous
â€ĸ Sakib is playing cricket at this moment.
â€ĸ Ashraful was captaining at that moment.
â€ĸ Mashrafi will be walking tomorrow.
â€ĸ Bush has been reading for one hour.
USE-2: ANY PASSIVE SENTENCE WITHOUT ‘TO BE’ IS IMPOSSIBLE. THAT
MEANS , THE SECOND DUTY OF ‘TO BE’ IS TO MAKE PASSIVE SENSE.
â€ĸ Rice is eaten by Sakib.
â€ĸ Ashraful was made captain in 2006.
â€ĸ Mashrafi will be called tomorrow.
â€ĸ Bush has been helped recently.
USE-3: AT TIMES ‘TO BE’ IS USED AS MAIN VERBS.
â€ĸ Sakib Al Hasan is a good captain.
â€ĸ Ashraful was a captain in 2006.
â€ĸ Masharfi will be a good captain tomorrow.
