Third forum on the ongoing migration of the former CIUOnline (ciuonline.com) and CIUNet (ciu.edu/ciunet) to the New CIUOnline (online.ciu.edu) Monday, November 9th 2009 11AM - 11:45AM Pamplin
Now announcing the new website address for the new CIUOnline  http://online.ciu.edu No longer www.ciuonline.com www.ciuonline.com currently redirects users to http://online.ciu.edu www.ciuonline.com will be phased out towards the end of the current academic year

Use your same username and password you used to login to the former CIUOnline or CIUNet. REMINDER: All CIUOnline users (faculty/staff/students) are now required to reset their passwords annually for security reasons.
Some items migrated to new CIUOnline directly Other items located in Legacy Applications box on Home page
In this current phase of the migration, we will be focusing on moving actual departmental pages formerly found on CIUNet in the Resources section These departmental pages will be located under the Resources tab on the new CIUOnline. This will require further coordination between IT Services and departments This will involve participation from site content editors (those who edited the former departmental pages on CIUNet or CIUOnline) This will require training in the areas of content editing in the new CIUOnline When we have completed the entire process, we will notify campus wide users. Departments are responsible for educating users outside of their departments as well when appropriate. We have training resources available at https :// online.ciu.edu/ics/Information_Technology/IT_Trainng_Resources.jnz

Student directory IT Services site Registrar’s Office site (including course registration components) Prospective Students

Still targeted for mid Spring 2010
