13. Using a thesaurus…in the classroom. Go over to the book shelf and take one down. Search for the word you that you want just like you would while using a dictionary. The alternative word will be listed. Just take your pick!

14. Using a thesaurus…interactively Go to an assigned computer. Go online. Type in: www.thesaurus.com Once on the page type in the word that you would like to replace and hit SEARCH Find the appropriate definition for the word that you are searching. Select a synonym from the list of options.
