An epitaph poem is a short, memorable poem written on a tombstone to summarize an important message about the deceased's life or personality. To write an epitaph, research other examples, write about the person's roles, qualities and accomplishments, then create a short poem that fits on a tombstone and flows well to focus on a main theme about their life.
