Sooraj (Sooraj Pancholi)
is a guy with great heart

going goon. Sooraj gets
struck between Pasha
(Aditya Pancholi) and
Inspector General Mathur
(Tigmanshu Dhulia), he
will be asked to kidnap
Radha (Athiya Shetty) who
happens to be the daughter
of IG Mathur. In this course,
Sooraj and Radha falls
in love with each other.
The rest of the movie is
how Sooraj comes out of
all these problems and
succeed in his love. Watch
the movie to know about the
rest.
Analysis :
The first half of the movie
has been decent except
some flaws with the love
story and the chemistry
between the lead actors
taking the major role.
The narration has been
completely old fashioned
and on the whole the
complete first half has been
ok.
The second half of the movie
is a complete downfall and
is the major drawback of the
movie. The movie has been
dragged completely and the
major plot has been shot
exactly like the original film
which is the main drawback.
If the director has done
some changes, the movie
should have been far better.
On the whole the complete
second half of the movie is a
downfall.
Final Word:
Hero is a film which is copied
from the original. Except
the performances from the
lead actors, the movie has
nothing new. Hero will sure
fall short in reaching the
expectations.

Story
Uday Shetty (Nana Patekar)

Uday and Majnu turn to Dr
Gungroo (Paresh Rawal)

he has a ready-made son
Ajju Bhai aka Ajay (John
Abraham). Ajju falls in
love with Ranjana (Sruthi
Haasan) and Honey (Shiney
Ahuja), son of Wanted Bhai
(Naseeruddin Shah) who is
a druggist falls in love with
Ranjana. Making all these
in one frame in Dubai, the
movie passes and is about
what happens next. Watch
the film to know about the
rest.
Analysis :
The first half of the
movie lacks proper
content however it has
been managed by the
entertainment which
doesn’t irritate the audience
completely. The romantic
episodes have been shown
in a hurry which do not bring
the feel. On the whole the
first half of the movie is ok
but not great.
The second half of the movie
lacks everything and the
film dips completely. The
screenplay and the narration
of the movie have been
completely below the line
which make the film horrible.
The entire star cast has
been completely wasted and
the second half of the movie
is the major drawback of
Welcome Back.
Final Word:
Welcome Back is a film
that has no proper plot
and execution. All the lead
characters have been
wasted and it can be ignored
completely.
John Abraham
has been
limited but
he has been
decent. Sruthi
Haasan is very
good as a
troubled sister in
the movie.

Story
Lucky (Nani) is a young
guy who suffers with short
term memory loss. He
gets diverted and is not a
multi tasker which makes
him forget about the most
important things. He falls in
love with Nandana (Lavanya
Tripathi) who is a dance
teacher by profession.
Lucky decides to marry her
but he keeps not to reveal
about his memory loss. In
this process he faces lot of
difficulties out of which the
biggest is her father (Murali
Sharma). The rest of the
movie is how he overcomes
all the obstacles and end up
marrying his love of his life.
Watch the movie to know
about the rest.
Analysis :
The first frame of the film
starts with entertainment
which continues till the title
cards of the movie which will
leave everyone in surprise.
Nani has been terrific
throughout the movie and
the complete first half builds
up a strong bonding with
the movie. Everyone will fall
in love with the character
of Lucky and Nandana
which were well written.
The narration has been
completely natural filled
with emotions and the most
interesting thing is no forced
comedy track or a family
drama has been indulged
which makes the film
fantastic. The complete first
half has been impressive.
The climax has been simple
and apt which makes the film
finally a blockbuster.
Final Word:
Nani’s natural performance
and Maruthi’s perfect
execution make the film a
must watch.

Story
Maya is about the story of
Maya who has been joined
in a Asylium as she kills
her husband who cheats

daughter after whom she

for a ring of Maya which
is quite expensive. In this
process everyone gets killed
and the rest of the movie
how Maya’s assets reach
Mayuri. Watch the movie to

Performance
Nayanathara who has
already proved herself
as an actress has done
a tailor made role. She
has delivered a fabulous
performance as Mayuri and
her expressions have been
top notch. Aari has done an
outstanding job and this will
stand among his best works.
All the other actors have
given their best.
The story of the movie
has been different from
other horror films and the
interesting screenplay along
with the nail biting narration
makes the movie interesting.
The back ground score along
with the cinematography are
the highlights of the movie.
The production values have
been grand enough. The
director has been successful
in delivering a decent film.
Final Word:
Maya is a film which has
interesting narration and
some horrifying sequences
which makes the film a
decent one time watch.
Aari works for a
print media and is
assigned a horror
series. While
working on it, one
particular episode
involving an old
mental institution
inside the forest

Saurabh Shukla one of
the most famous theatre
actors who made it big on
silver screen. He has been
entertaining the audience
from the past 22 years with
his stupendous performance.
He has tested his luck as a
writer and director and he
even succeeded in all the
fields. He is best known for
his work in films like Satya
(1998), Barfi! (2012), Jolly
LLB (2013), Kick (2014),
and PK (2014). In 2014,
he won the National Film
Award for Best Supporting
Actor for his role in Jolly
LLB. Shukla's family left
Gorakhpur for Delhi when he
was two years old. Here after
completing his schooling,
he did his graduation from
Khalsa College, Delhi. His
professional career began
in 1984 with his entry into
theatre.
Shukla began doing for
theatre in 1986 and his
famous works include A View
From The Bridge (Arthur
Miller), Look Back in Anger
(John Osborne), Ghashiram
Kotwal (Vijay Tendulkar)
and Hayvadan. In 1991, he
joined the NSD Repertoire
Company – the professional
wing of the National School
of Drama – as actor. He
received his first break
through Sekhar Kapoor’s
Bandit Queen and a special
role has been created for
Shukla. Along with these he
has done number of serials
which have been telecasted
in Doordarshan.
Shukla's biggest break came
when he co-wrote the script
for Ram Gopal Varma's 1998
cult classic Satya and played
the role of gangster Kallu
Mama in the film. He won the
Star Screen Award for Best
Screenplay alongside Anurag
Kashyap. "Why do I make
realistic films, like Satya?
Because that's the kind of
films I like to do. Capturing
reality is very difficult and
challenging," he said in an
interview.
He also says “If you
carefully see my work, it
is all black comedy. We
usually categorize subjects
as comedy and serious. But
there is more than just this.
Like when we laugh, we
sometimes also cry. There
can be certain viciousness
to this action if there is too
much of it. It is the same
with romance, which gets
too much after a point. There
is always a comic element
in every situation”. In 2003,
he wrote the screenplay for
Calcutta Mail. He received
his first award for this film,
the Zee Cine Award for Best
Screenplay. In 2008, he
acted in his first international
film, the Golden Globe and
Academy Award winning
Slumdog Millionaire, as the
character Constable Srinivas.
Saurabh Shukla who has
been seen in over 100 films
in his career has received
stupendous response for his
performance in his movies.
Along with these, he excelled
as a writer, lyricist, producer
and as a director. Hope
Saurabh Shukla will continue
this successful journey in his
film career and entertain the
audience like this till he quits.

busy directing Varun Tej’s
upcoming film, Loafer.
On the eve of his birthday
tomorrow(Sep 28th), we
caught up with him for a brief
interview. Let’s see what he
has to say.
Q) Tell us briefly about
Loafer ?
Loafer is an emotional drama
which is based on mother
sentiment. This is the first
time after Amma Nanna O
Tamila Ammayi I am doing
a film which has strong
sentiment.
Q) What is the latest
update about the
film’s progress?
The shooting part is nearing
completion. Recently,
we wrapped up the Goa
schedule . The release date
will be announced soon.
Q) Tell us about the
lead pair in the film ?
Both Varun and Disha
Patanai will go places in their
respective careers. Varun
done a superb job and his
innocent face expressions
will be the major highlight in
the film. I am confident that
Varun Tej will become a star
hero in future.
Q) Is the title ‘Loafer’
apt for this film ?
We felt that ‘Loafer’ is
perfectly apt for our story and
hero’s characterization. After
watching some scenes in
the film, C.Kalyan and Ram
Gopal Varma suggested me
to change the title. Currently,
we are considering some
other titles which could retain
the essence of Loafer.
Q) What happened
to your project with
Chiranjeevi garu ?
He was impressed with the
first half of my script, but
didn’t spoke a word to me
after hearing out the second
part. Instead, he announced
in the media that he was not
satisfied with the script. I
would have made necessary
changes had he informed
me. Even now, I am ready to
do a film with him
Q) Your comment on
the current market for
Telugu films ?

The business for Telugu
films has been improving
by leaps and bounds after
every industry hit. Recently,
Baahubali and Srimanthudu
gave a further boost to the
market and there are a lot
of advantages for all those
who are dependent on the
industry.
Q) Are you planning
any films with
shoestring budget ?
At present, low budget films
are finding it hard to survive.
They are not even fetching a
decent price for their satellite
rights. I will surely think about
them in the future.
Q) What is your next
project ?
My next film is with
‘Mahatma’ producer CR.
Manohar’s nephew, Ishant.
The film is a bilingual which
will be shot simultaneously in
Telugu and Kannada. It will
commence in November.
Q) What about your
film with Mahesh Babu
?
I already locked the script
and Mahesh Babu also gave
the nod to the project. I am
waiting for his dates and will
start working with him very
soon. I am also planning to
do a film with Allu Arjun.

In fact, you get glimpses of what this film

few scenes and one song sequence. But
sadly, that's about it. In a world where only
a man is accepted to be running away from
commitment, Payal is contemporary. She
is open about casual relationships and
is honest enough to admit that she won’t
commit until she checks out the other dudes
around. In a refreshing role reversal of kinds,
it is the man who’s pining after the woman,
while the woman goes about doing what
suits her best.
However, Sadly the film seemed to have
a severe commitment phobia too. At one
point it talks about man vs woman issues,
then goes on and on about unrequited love
and then suddenly serves a tearjerker, thus
making us as helpless and exasperated as
Maddy.
Imran Khan is sincere. Kangana has by
now proved that she’s a brilliant actress, but
here she seems to be faltering a bit as if she
is desperately looking for a firm footing in
terms of a convincing character. And then
she shines in the last ten minutes of the film,
yet again leaving us in no doubt about what
she is capable of. In fact, the last ten odd
minutes of the film keeps you hooked to the
screen. But obviously that is not enough at
all.

he has done.

He has been entertaining
the audience from the
past four decades as an actor
and even awards cannot
replace the work he has done
for Indian cinema. He is a film
actor, screenwriter, director,
producer, playback singer,
choreographer and lyricist.
After several projects as a
child, Haasan's breakthrough
as a lead actor came in
the 1975 drama Apoorva
Raagangal. He was born in
Tamil Nadu however he has
done movies in Tamil, Telugu,
Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali
and Hindi languages.
He has done movies in all the
languages and he brought
life to many characters in the
movies he has done. The list
of films to be remembered
in his career are not limited
and almost all his films have
been special and he is the
only Indian actor to receive
four National awards and 19
Filmfare awards in his career
which is really stunning.
He has been awarded with
Padma Shri in 1990 and with
Padma Bhushan in 2014
for his contribution to Indian
cinema.

Kamal revealed saying
“I was always a reluctant
actor! I continue to be that.

camera rolls and I'm happy.

Except for my mentor K.
Balachander, for whom I can
do even a walk-on part. When
he directed his 100th film, I
just walked in to do a small
role. I just clowned around on
camera. Legendary director
K Balachandar introduced
Kamal Haasan to films and he
always respect Balachandar
as his guru.
Speaking about his guru
“Balachander is my
inspiration. He had a heart
problem 40 years back. He
has been making films for
another 46 years. He can
never grow old. My father
used to be like that until he
suffered a stroke. Then I
suddenly realized he was an
old man.That's also true of my
brothers Chandra Haasan and
to an extent Charu Haasan.I
can never imagine them
being old”. The Legendary
director passed away recently
and Kamal paid his tribute
for his guru. He also offered
him a prominent role in his
upcoming movie Uttama
Villan which will release soon.
Kamal Haasan won the
prestigious President’s Gold
Medal for his performance
in Kalathur Jannamma at
the age of four which is quite
surprising. He had a spark of
being a star since childhood.
He became the first Indian
actor to get Rs 1 crore as
remuneration for a single
movie and it happened in
1994. It was Rajesh Khanna
who was the highest paid
actor in those days till Kamal
crossed him.
Uttama Villan has been
directed by Ramesh Aravind
and the script has been
penned by Kamal himself.
Andrea and Pooja Kumar are
the heroines and Ghibraan
is the music composer. The
movie has been produced
by Kamal Haasan and N
Lingusamy. Vishwaroopam
2 has completed shoot and
is in post production. The
movie has been directed
and produced by Kamal

Papanasam is the remake of
Malayalam blockbuster movie
Drishyam and Gouthami
played the female lead in the
movie which ended as one of
the biggest blockbusters in
the career of Kamal Haasan.
His next movie Cheekati
Rajyam completed shoot
and will hit the screens in
November.
Kamal revealed that he will
continue doing movies till his
last breath and his only target
is to entertain the audience.
