Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is an upcoming Indian Hindi film,
directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Zee Studio, JA
Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment. The film is written by Saiwyn
Quadras, Sanyuktha Chawla Sheikh and Abhishek Sharma.The film is
based on the nuclear bomb test explosions conducted by the Indian Army
at Pokhran in 1998. It features John Abraham and Diana Penty in lead
role. It is slated to be released on 2 March 2018.Parmanu was earlier
slated to release on 8 December, but the makers pushed the date to avoid
clashing with Padmaavat.

second Hindi feature film of Pritish Chakraborty as Writer – Director.

Story :
Set during 1540, Padmaavat is
all about the Rajput King Rawal
Ratan Singh (Shahid Kapoor) and
his wife Rani Padmavati (Deepika
Padukone). They lead a simple
and peaceful life until the dreaded
Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh)
enters their lives. Padmaavat
completely revolves around them
and is all about how they stake
everythingg in the battle of war

Analysis :
Padmaavat is an epic in every frame
which has been carved out well.
The first half of Padmaavat starts off
explaining about the major roles after
which the film switches into the plot.
The performances along with the
epic storytelling makes the first half
of Padmaavat worth watching. With
enough race, though some of the
episodes drop down, the film picks up
soon and strikes hard. The interval
episodes have been outstanding and
the first half of Padmaavat ends with
a bang.
The second half of Padmaavat
too carries the same mood and is
more concentrated on war. Shahid
Kapoor's character and role have
been kept neutral and make no
impact. While Ranveer and Deepika
shines completely throughout the
second half, Padmaavat is an
ultimate mater piece to watch it
on large screen. Yes, the film has
enough flaws which can be ignored
in this epic storytelling process. The
climax stands out tall which makes
Padmaavat a must watch film.

Story :
Agnyaathavaasi is all about
Abhishikth Bhargav (Pawan
Kalyan) who leads a secret life
because of the rivals of his father
Govind Bhargav (Boman Irani).
The day arrives after his father
gets brutally by his opponents
after which the whole world
arrives for the successor of AB
Group which Govind owns. It is
during this time, Govind’s wife
Indrani (Kusbhoo) sets a deadline
of Abhi’s arrival. The rest of
Agnyaathavaasi is all about the
arrival of the Prince in his style
and how he treats his rivals.

Analysis :
The first half of Agnyaathavaasi looks pale
and poorly written. One expects a strong
set of episodes from Trivikram along with
some entertaining episodes that went
missing completely in Agnyaathavaasi.
The songs have been placed well and they
have been shot well across some beautiful
locales. The action episodes have been
shot well and the interval episodes make
a massive impact. On the whole, the first
half of Agnyaathavaasi looks decent.
The second half of the film manages to
stand tall for twenty minutes but it dips
down again as the film proceeds. The
songs look decent and the entertainment
keeps the audience engaging. Though
the major plot has been left deviated, the
focus stands completely on Pawan Kalyan.
The rest of the episodes how Abhi retains
the business empire have been loosely
executed and the climax has been quite
simple. On the whole, the second half of
Agnyaathavaasi too has been just ok and
misses the mark of Trivikram badly.
Final Word:
Agnyaathavaasi lacks the mark of
Trivikram big time however the film can be
given a shot for the flawless performance
of Pawan Kalyan and the grand production
values. All the lead actors excelled in their
assignments.

Story :
Jai Simha is the story of
Narasimha (Nandamuri
Balakrishna) who fights against
the evils in the society. In this
process he loses his loved
one Gauri (Nayanathara) who
happens his childhood friend.
To stay away from her, he gets
married to Manga (Hari Priya)
and in a shocking move he gives
one of his baby to Gauri. The
rest of Jai Simha is all about the
real problems that led to their
separation and how Gauri realises

Analysis :
The first half of Jai Simha looks
decent with some interesting episodes
throughout. The comedy has been
old fashioned and the narration of
the film looks completely outdated.
Balakrishna carries the entire film
with his energy and the songs have
been shot well. The interval episode
has been interesting and the fight has
been shot well. On the whole the first
half of Jai Simha has been decent
with some interesting episodes.
The second half of Jai Simha has
been completely emotional but is a
huge misfire. The film lacks logic and
the narration has been below the par.
Most of the episodes fail to make
any impact across the audience. The
songs once again have been decent
but the direction has been completely
outdated. The climax has been decent
thought it has been predictable.
Balakrishna shines with perfection
throughout the film. On the whole the
second half of Jai Simha falls flat.
Final Word:
Jai Simha is quite old fashioned and
dragged though it has been laced with
interesting commercial elements and
emotional drama. The film is a huge
letdown and it will appeal to masses.

Bhaagamathie is the story of
Chanchala IAS (Anushka), a
honest officer by profession. She
gets appointed as the Personal
Secretary to minister Eshwar
Prasad (Jayaram) and in a
shocking move, she gets trapped
by CBI for an investigation.

Bhaagamathie bungalow secretly
and things change completely
as Chanchala turns into
Bhaagamathie. The rest of the
film is all about the hidden story

episodes throughout. Anushka shines in
the role which has two different layers.
Though the film looks predictable, the
narration makes the film look decent.
The flashback episodes create lot of
curiosity among the audience. The
production values look grand and
the entire first half of Bhaagamathie
looks decent and impressive. The
interval block has been outstanding
and Anushka strikes hard with her
performance.
The second half of Bhaagamathie takes
a surprising turn as it offers nothing new
and interesting. The routine political
drama makes the film fall flat and the
predictable narration dips down the film.
The film turns interesting during the pre-
climax episodes but most of the much
needed logics have been left aside.
The climax looks simple and makes
no impact. The last twenty minutes
of the film is a huge let down which
makes the second half fall short of the
expectations.

Masterpiece
of Indian Cinema
Padmaavat which was formerly titled Padmavati, is an
Indian epic period drama film directed by Sanjay Leela
Bhansali. Deepika Padukone stars as Rani Padmavati,
alongside Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh, and
Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji. Aditi Rao Hydari, Jim
Sarbh, Raza Murad, and Anupriya Goenka feature in
supporting roles.

Based on the epic poem
Padmavat (1540) by Malik
Muhammad Jayasi, the film
narrates the story of Padmavati,
a Rajput queen who committed
jauhar (self-immolation) to
protect herself from Khilji.
With a production budget of
₹215 crore (US$34 million),
Padmaavat is the most
expensive Hindi film and one of
the most expensive Indian films
ever made. Initially scheduled
for release on 1 December
2017, Padmavaat release was
indefinitely delayed due to
numerous controversies. Amid
violent protests, its release
was indefinitely delayed. In
December, the Central Board
of Film Certification approved
the film with five modifications,
which includes the addition
of multiple disclaimers and a
change in title. Padmaavat was
re-scheduled for release on 25
January 2018 in 2D, 3D and
IMAX 3D formats, making it the
first Indian film to be released in
IMAX 3D.
Padmaavat received positive
reviews all over. Critics
praised the visuals and Singh's
portrayal of Khilji, but criticised
its storyline, execution, length,
and adherence to regressive
patriarchal mores. Critics also
disliked the portrayal of Khilji
as a stereotypical evil Muslim
king and Ratan Singh as the
righteous Hindu king.Due to
the costs mounted on the film
by delay in the release, Box
Office India declared the film's
budget to be ₹215 crore (US$34
million), which makes it the most
expensive Hindi film and one of
the most expensive Indian films
ever made.
The digital streaming rights
of Padmaavat were sold to
Amazon Prime Video for ₹20–25
crore in August 2017. Theatrical
distribution rights in overseas
territories were acquired by
Paramount Pictures from
Viacom 18 in October. It was
announced that Prime Focus
Limited would render the film
in 3D. The CEO of Viacom 18
Motion Pictures Ajit Andhare
stated that it would be the widest
release for a Bollywood film in
3D.Post the CBFC approval with
U/A certification, the film got
banned by the Chief Ministers of
four states Rajasthan, Gujarat,
Madhya Pradesh and Haryana in
order to maintain 'law and order'
and avert protests in their states.
Padmaavat emerged as a
box-office winner though it
had a restricted release. The
film crossed Rs 100 crore
mark in the country in its first
week. Padmaavat even had
an exceptional run across the
overseas territories. The film is
expected to end up as a massive
blockbuster in its final run.

Exclusive Interview

Ranveer Singh is the man of the moment. He's not only winning
rave reviews for his Alauddin Khilji act in Padmaavat but the
period drama has also turned out to be his biggest opener and
fastest Rs 100 crore-project till date. When After Hrs catches up
with him, the young actor is visibly excited. He says, "I'm so
happy that people are liking the film. Sanjay sir has created such a
masterpiece."

How does it feel to be
applauded for your act when
you are sharing screen space
with such strong performers?
I'm not into one-upmanship. I've
done two-hero films and some
multi-starrers, too. My approach
to work is collaborative, not
competitive. I view myself and all
the other actors as the complete
acting department. How they have
performed together is what matters!
The costume department, the VFX
department — all of them have
contributed to making Padmaavat
what it is. We're the people who
bring emotions to the table and I'm
proud of this film's cast, with what
we've been able to achieve.
But it must give you a sense
of pride, right?
My foundations of acting lie in the
theatre where the first thing they
make you do is trust exercises
where you do warm-up sessions
with your co-actors. Having done
several plays, this is my approach
towards cinema, too. Filmmaking
is eventually a collaborative
process. I believe that I'm as good
as my co-star. I'll mention two
cases to you. I understand how

Jim Sarbh made me look
good in Padmaavat. People
have waxed eloquent about
how he's such an asset to
the film and how he has
enhanced my performance. I
fully agree with it. Right now,
I'm shooting with Alia Bhatt
and I can't begin to tell you
what a great actor she is. She
makes my job so easy. I just
have to be present to react to
her actions. It's sheer magic.
I come from a different school
of thought, which is why I
don't concern myself with
notions like who did better!
Usually, people attach a
stigma to a leading hero
playing a negative character.
Here, people were calling
you ghinauna which is a
compliment.
So many people told me that
Hindi picture mein if someone
loves your character, they
love you. If they hate your
character on screen, they
will automatically start hating
you as a person. There's no
doubt about how this role
was a huge risk. Mainstream
Hindi cinema is a lot about
your image. People perceive
you as the character you've
played and they will credit
all those virtues to you. It
could have been the same
case in this instance. But I'm
relieved that it has paid off
because people recognised
that yeh toh Ranveer nahin
hai, yeh sirf ek character hai.
They are appreciative of it
as a performance and all I'm
getting is love and applause
which feels extremely fulfilling.
The industry has not
seen a superstar post
Hrithik Roshan. But
today, you and Varun
Dhawan are slowly
inching towards that tag.
What do you say?
I think it's good for the movie
business that younger and
newer actors are delivering
such kind of numbers. The
industry needs these to thrive.
My mentor, Aditya Chopra,
had once explained to me the
meaning of a superstar. He
said when you're a superstar
and people see your face on a
poster, that's all they need to
want to come and watch the
film, regardless of anything
else. So, while these tags are
being attached to me, I still
feel I have a long way to go.
I don't want to get corrupted
with all this. I just want to act
and grow. I could well have
been acting in theatre, but
I wanted to do mainstream
Hindi cinema and that to me is
one of the greatest gifts.
But don't you think
you're at a position in
your career where one
flop wouldn't unsettle
you at all? You're
working with some of
the best directors.
I'm just lucky that these films
came to me in whatever order
they did. Whether it's Gully
Boy, Simmba or 83! Gully
Boy was offered first. Then,
Rohit (Shetty) sir approached
me for his film and then came
83 (the Kapil Dev biopic). If
I've to give credit to myself,
then it's just that I've created
my own luck and have
worked hard enough to be a
recognised actor. Therefore,
I was offered these movies.
I'm blessed to be working with
these fine filmmakers in such
different genres who are so
passionate about the stories
that they are telling. That's the
most crucial thing for me. If I
ever find myself in a position
where I see things aren't
happening theek se, then I get
affected.

Bhaagamathie is a 2018 Indian Telugu-Tamil bilingual
horror thriller film written and directed by G.
Ashok. It stars Anushka Shetty in the lead role,
with Unni Mukundan, Jayaram, and Asha Sarath in
other pivotal roles. The film revolves around a
woman imprisoned in a haunted house while she
is interrogated by law enforcers investigating a
politician they suspect of corruption.

script in 2012 and had written it keeping
Anushka Shetty in mind. In late 2012,
the team approached Anushka and
the actress liked the script but was
not able to immediately commit to the
film, as she had pending projects such

in Jaipur in the month of January, has resumed
at the Masai plateau, some 20 kms away

According to the production unit in the city, at
present shooting of Visual Effects (VFX) scenes

Baby was produced under T-Series along with
Crouching Tiger, Friday Filmworks and Cape
of Good Films. Sajjad Delafrooz was roped
to play the role of Saudi Doctor. The filming
began on 4 September 2014, in Greater Noida,
Uttar Pradesh. Many shots have been taken in
Gautam Buddha University, at Meditation Hall,
Shanti Sarover and Library, at Greater Noida.
The second part was shot in Nepal and the team
completed their final schedule in Abu Dhabi
in October and some parts were also shot in
Istanbul.
The songs for the film features songs composed
by MM Keeravani and Meet Bros Anjjan. Lyrics

was composed by Sanjoy Chowdhury. Baby
was banned in Pakistan by the censor boards in
