Budhia Singh: Born to Run is the
story of Odisha’s wonder boy
Budia Singh who has taken the
country by storm during 2005-06.
After being sold by his mother,
Sukanti (Tillotama Shome), for
800 bucks to a bangle maker,
Budhia’s life could have been
a hell as a lifetime slave. What
changed his life was, popular
Judo coach Biranchi Das (Manoj
Bajpayee). This man runs a
school for orphans and the rest
of the film is how he showcases
the talent of Budhia Singh. Watch

know about the complete story.
Analysis :
The first half of Budhia Singh:
Born to Run has been realistic to
the core and it has been narrated
with utmost passion. The entire
film has been meaningful and
the performances by the lead
actors has been stupendous.
The presentation of the film
raises no questions as has been
framed perfect and interesting.
On the whole the first half of
Budhia Singh: Born to Run has
been interesting and appealing
throughout.
The second half of the film has a
different story as it showcases the
other side of the story. However
the film has been extremely
convincing and lives up to the
core. The emotional content along
with the realistic episodes have
been presented in the best way
and the climax of the film has
been quite interesting. On the
whole the second half of Budhia

the peaks.

Story :
The Commander look and the
title RUSTOM raised huge
expectations of the story. The
film is unique and filled-up with
exciting. Hero Commander
Rustom Pavri's (Akshay Kumar)
trial is underway in court. Akshay
is a vision in white. He is an
Indian Naval officer leads a happy
and pleasant life in Mumbai with
his Cynthia (Ileana D'Cruz). His
always need to move a place to
place on work for long period of
time. Rustom has the charge of
killing his freind Vikram Makhija
(Arjan Bajwa), where Cynthia
has affair with him. Prosecution
lawyer Lakshman Khangani
(Sachin Khedekar) pulls up
Rustom for being in his pristine
white uniform all the time. He
goes ahead to remind the jury to
not be swayed by the uniform,
"Uniform ke peechhe chhupa ek
criminal hai." Must Watch the
movie on the screens to catch
rest of the story.
Analysis :
The first half of the movie is
exciting, gripping, Where as the
second half, in certain portions
narration gets somewhat sloppy
of the movie makes audience to
take eye-off from the screen and
shifts your eyes round the clock.
But, the director manages to
accelerate the pace soon again.
After films like "Baby" and "Airlift,"
the audience had expected
similar, if not more, action and
thrill from Akshay in "Rustom."
But the latest release does not
have many enthralling moments
to remember the film by. One of
the scenes shows an antagonist
having strong evidence in his
hand to put the protagonist
behind bars but he merely waits
for the police to reach him and
collect the proof.

Story :
Manamantha is the story of
four people Sairam (Mohanlal),
Gayathri (Gowthami), Abhiram
(Viswant) and Mahita (Raina
Rao). Sairam works as an
assistant manager in a super
market who works hard to
settle good in life. Gayathri is
a simple housewife who finds
happiness in simple things.
Abhiram is a talented student
who helps others. Mahita is a
schoolgirl who looks at others
before making things. A single
incident changes their lives and
the rest of Manamantha is all
about the situations that they
faced further.
Analysis :
The first half of Manamantha
has been decent and engaging.
The entertainment has been
carried forward well and the
movie has some gripping
narration throughout. The songs
have been placed decent and
the cinematography is the major
highlight of the film. The interval
episodes make the film have
been strongly narrated that
they bring a huge impact on the
audience.
The second half of the film too
carries the interest forward.
The narration has been quite
gripping and the emotions have

Srirastu Subhamastu is the story
of Sirish (Allu Sirish) who is a
part of a responsible well settled
family represented by Prakashraj.
His brother loves a middle class
girl without considering his
father’s decision and during the
same time, Sirish falls in love with

is a middle class girl. This is the
time Sirish challenges his father
that he will convince the girl
without using his family’s identity.

Exclusive Interview
Vikram says, “I’m not in a
race, the passion for the
craft drives me.” Instead
he prefers to invest time
in getting into the skin of
his role. Excerpts from his
recent interview:
You seem to prefer
duality and layered
characters ?
That’s what I’ve always
planned to do. I love playing
roles with different shades,
like the villain -- not the
heavy, quintessential one
who bows to the hero by
the end of the film -- but
like the ones in Hollywood,
where they are equivalent
to or sometimes, even
more powerful than heroes.
Inkokkadu came to me like
that, it has two contrasting
yet layered roles, Akilan and
Love. Anand and I worked on
the differences to an extent
that I had to be another actor
while I was doing Love.
How was it working
with a one-film
old director Anand
Shankar?
When I watched the preview
of his first film (Arima Nambi,
remade as Dynamite in
Telugu), I literally asked him,
‘Are you sure this is your
first film? Would you have
any other story for me?’ He
Actor VIKRAM, even after a two-decade stint in
cinema, continues to be a BAG OF SURPRISES; his
roles and films often defying commercial diktats
and popular expectations. Ever greedy for better
roles, Vikram has never been in a hurry to sign
films.

isn’t so out of the box, you’d
love to appreciate its inner
nuances and complexity
equally.
What’s the reason
behind unveiling the
mysterious character
(love) prior to its
release?
If audiences go to Inkokkadu
without knowing who played
the character, by the time
they bond with it, the film
is more or less done. The
decision to reveal ‘Love’ was
to catch people by surprise
early enough and give them
a taste of what they can
expect from the role.
The effeminate
characterisation
of Love and its
treatment has
created a buzz. What
care have you taken
to portray it?
When you see the film, you’ll
realise that Love, who plays
a doctor, is neither gay nor
a transgender. You wouldn’t
want to slot him in any
particular category (he points

his character in Pithamagan
for instance who’s an anti-
social). It’s just like an ‘A
versus B’ clash. There’s no
place in the film for me to
exaggerate it, even when I
say ‘Nuvvu Raja Nenu Rani’
in the trailer, it was just to get
people curious.
In fact, Love wears a lot of
designer stuff from Armaani
suits to shades to the
handbag, whereas Akilan is
happy slipping into his shirt
and jeans. The attempt was
to break stereotypes from
what we saw in films like
Kanchana.
Why aren’t you
considering more
Telugu-Tamil
bilinguals, given your
popularity in both
territories?
The dynamics don’t work out
well enough. Aparichitudu,
for instance, worked well
in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi,
it didn’t matter that the
audiences were watching a
dubbed version. When you’re
trying to simultaneously
shoot, the nativity is bound
to suffer somewhere, despite
the money invested. The
sensibilities in Chennai may
not connect to a person
watching it in Hyderabad.
People will nevertheless
watch Inkokkadu in the
dubbed version; it has Nithya,
Nasser, Nayanthara and
me, whom they know well.
I’m also happy Nithya and
Nayanthara have starred in a
film where they are more than
‘heroines’.
Would you like to
move beyond acting
sometime in future?
I’m loving the responsibility
that I have as an actor. It’s
always been a dream, I
would want to continue to
live that. Beyond that, yes, I
love photography, love the
cinematographic process and
would want to direct a film
sometime too.

Banjo along with Riteish Deshmukh, just got duped!
Well, technically the actress got robbed off her
money as someone has transacted a big amount of
Rs. 6 lakh from her credit card. Unaware about this
initially, the actress found out when she received a
message from her card issuing bank stating that a
transaction of $9,062 took place.

Once you take panga with Bollywood’s Sultan,
you know damn well that the repercussions of
the same aren’t going to be good. So yes, in all
probability Sona is out of the scene. However,
there are reports suggesting that Kajol has been
approached to don a negative role in the film.

Akshay Kumar, unstoppable is the word that
perfectly signifies his persona. Only recently in
fact, less than a week since his film Rustom hit the
theatres as it triumphed against Hrithik Roshan’s
Mohenjo Daro, that the actor has already announced

Salman Khan has reserved Eid as his release
territory, looks like Independence Day week is
gonna be for Akshay!

Kajal Aggarwal will be playing the female lead in

sequel – Tiger Zinda Hai?
Arbaaz Khan finally clarifies,
Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3 to go
on floors at end of 2017!
We revealed to you yesterday how Salman
Khan will start shooting for the Ek Tha Tiger
sequel (Tiger Zinda Hai) after wrapping up
Tubelight. However, the sequel to the hit
film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar under
Yash Raj Films, rather than Kabir Khan (who
had directed the first one). Ali even confirmed
this news, however he didn’t mention which
actress will act opposite Salman in the film.
The reports of Dabangg 3 going on floors
surfaced for quite a good amount of time,
however now we come to know that,
Arbaaz plans to start shooting for this third
installment only by the end of next year but
there is no official date for it. Talking to a
leading tabloid, Arbaaz said that, “If you want
to keep a franchise going, you just can’t keep
coming every two years, you have to deliver
too. Even the Munnabhais and Golmaals
arrive after a gap. Hence every franchise
needs breathing space. Someone’s role
increases, someone else’s reduces, you
can’t repeat stuff.”
