An example exercise, where student create an Interactive Story. It uses Keynote or PowerPoint, as a way of learning how to use those programs.

2.  You are to create an Interactive Story where
the reader can make decisions about what
happens.
 Your story will need;
 at least 5 decisions that the reader can make,
 At least 3 different endings.
 A map (or flowchart) of all the slides with the
decisions shown in it.

3.  Add Hyperlinks to each slide to control how
it links to the next one
With the end of each story linking back to
the start
 Add Images to enhance the story
 Can add Sounds and Video

4. A flowchart is a
diagram that
shows the steps of
a process
 It uses boxes of
various kinds to
outline the steps.
 And the order they
happen with
connecting arrows.

5. Answer the following for your evaluation;
1. Include your name
2. Whose story are you evaluating
3. How many choices (or decision points) does
the story have?
4. How many different endings does the story
have?
5. How does your story make sense?
