Halloween has its origins in ancient Celtic harvest festivals and traditions. On Samhain, the last day of summer according to the Celtic calendar, Druids would make sacrifices and predict the future by magic. The Celts believed ghosts of the dead returned on Samhain and would dress in costumes to frighten away spirits. Today, Halloween is celebrated in many Western cultures as a time when children dress in costumes and go trick-or-treating, asking for candy at doors while reciting rhymes. Major symbols of Halloween include carved pumpkins known as Jack-o'-lanterns, the colors orange and black, and the traditions of wearing costumes and going door-to-door for treats.
This document contains statements from several students about what Halloween characters they are scared of and not scared of. Many students express being scared of ghosts, monsters, and Frankenstein but not being scared of pumpkins, skeletons, or bats. Some other fears mentioned include vampires, zombies, spiders, and cats. Fears vary between students.
The document discusses how taxonomy and metadata can improve enterprise search. It provides an overview of several taxonomy and search strategies, including tuned search/best bets, faceted search, tagging, clustering, and disambiguation. Tuned search maps common search terms to specific landing pages or results. Faceted search allows filtering results by taxonomy categories. Metadata can be explicit tags or implicit structural elements. The document argues that taxonomy drives effective search by providing a common language and organizing information to improve precision and recall.

Electric vehicle and photovoltaic advanced roles in enhancing the financial p...IJECEIAES
Climate change's impact on the planet forced the United Nations and governments to promote green energies and electric transportation. The deployments of photovoltaic (PV) and electric vehicle (EV) systems gained stronger momentum due to their numerous advantages over fossil fuel types. The advantages go beyond sustainability to reach financial support and stability. The work in this paper introduces the hybrid system between PV and EV to support industrial and commercial plants. This paper covers the theoretical framework of the proposed hybrid system including the required equation to complete the cost analysis when PV and EV are present. In addition, the proposed design diagram which sets the priorities and requirements of the system is presented. The proposed approach allows setup to advance their power stability, especially during power outages. The presented information supports researchers and plant owners to complete the necessary analysis while promoting the deployment of clean energy. The result of a case study that represents a dairy milk farmer supports the theoretical works and highlights its advanced benefits to existing plants. The short return on investment of the proposed approach supports the paper's novelty approach for the sustainable electrical system. In addition, the proposed system allows for an isolated power setup without the need for a transmission line which enhances the safety of the electrical network
