Title : Micro-controller based Three Wheeled Scooter
Language : Microcontroller 8051,PIC16Fxx,Atmel Series

Duration : 3 months.
Description : This project is concerned with design considerations and tradeoffs
involved in the power electronics development for light electric
vehicles. A review of propulsion system design, power conversion
structure and control is presented. A three-phase squirrel-cage
induction motor is used as propulsion system for an electric
scooter. The motor is controlled at different operating conditions
by means of a simple scalar control using a low cost controller
board developed for light electric vehicles used in local areas.
Experimental results show that the proposed digital controller is
able to follow the reference speed with a suitable dynamics for the
electric scooter.
Contribution : Involved in developing modules for the Design the programs.
Writing a make file for the application.

Title : Centralized and Decentralized solution for

Description : The project was developed to overcome the concurrence
problem in the Savings Bank Application. A centralized solution was
developed by Client –Server model, here the Server used to has the Client

requests. A C structure was used as a message structure for Client -
Server Communication. A decentralized solution was developed by using
Data Locking and Text Locking Mechanism to avoid the concurrence
problem.

Title : Street Light and Traffic Signal Control using Wireless Technology

Description : A street light the signal control is the network in order to
monitor the traffic and display all the information regarding all
the packets. As the data sent by the host will encrypted it
cannot be converted in to human readable format and it is not
displayed on to the screen.

Title : This automated library system become a important topic. These system is
very essential and useful to reduce human Effort and save time. Various section of the

Description : This project AT mega 16 is a low power AVR 8-bit
Microcontroller. It is advanced RISC architecture. . AT mega 16 is
high performance low power Atmel AVR 8bit microcontroller with
8kb of in system self programmable memory.131 powerful
instruction present in AT mega 16 .Most of single clock cycle
execution and 32*8 general purpose register are working, fully
static operation. Two 8-bit timer/counters with separate prescalers
and compare modes, and one 16-bit timer/counter with separate
prescaler, compare mode, capture mode. Special Microcontroller

Project #5: Traffic-aware Design of a High Speed FPGA Network
Intrusion Detection System

Description: Network intrusion detection system collects information from network
and identifies all the possible existing network security threats. Software based detection
systems are common but are not good enough for the current network security
requirements. Present day network intrusion detection needs wire-level data transfer to
avoid the inefficiency in pattern matching process. Hardware based solutions like field
programmable gate array which is known for its high processing capability can easily
solve these issues. This paper implements a hardware based gigabit intrusion detection
system using extended Bloom filter concepts. The paper presents a solution to reduce the
high error rate of Bloom Filter by introducing a Reference Vector to the work and
evaluates its performance. The reference vector verifies the Bloom filter output for any
possible false positive results and reduces the error rate in the system. Keywords Network
