Working along side the Director of Operations, we oversee the entire company to ensure smooth and efficient business.
As Operations Associate my duties throughout the day are to interact with numerous amounts of persons at each venue
regarding the specifications of every engagement such as revision approval on Artist contract and rider, payment, travel
arrangements, insurance coverage & tax exemption (if necessary). The only way to keep track of over 500 documents for
roughly 200 artistic shows, each with a different set of outstanding issues and with varying persons to interface with, is by
constantly updating a preliminary business repot via an Excel sheet, which is my responsibility as well.
Key Accomplishments
§ Consecutively meet hundreds of deadlines by having the ability to manage many moving components as well as
connect and be apart of a network to solve multiple projects for timely execution.
§ Implemented a check and balance system for our seasonal cash flow report. This report enabled easy tracking of
every engagement payment from all venues for the entire season. The report allows one to easily see the timing of
all payments received, and pending. Also, if there is a discrepancy the issue could be identified quickly in order
to find an effective solution.
§ Engaged with the Department of Revenue throughout the United States, Canada, Bogota, Australia and a number
of other countries by properly handling forms such as CA589s, No Vendor due forms, CT 588s & W8BENs, to
ensure timely disbursement and appropriate exemption of payments for our non-profit and incorporated Artists.
§ Worked, managed & completed creations of work by our Artists with prestigious presenters such as the Kennedy
Center, Carnegie Hall, UCLA, Segerstrom Center, and Disney Hall.
