The actual performance, concerning management within an organization, begins with leadership. What is a leader? How does one define a leader? The abridged definition of a leader is considered to be someone within an organization who is able to get people/employees to do things they have never done before, perform outside of their daily routines, and be able to take some risks for the common good of the organization or the community.
Good leadership begins with the exercising of authority, whether it is formal or informal, in directing and coordinating the work of others, or by using a combination of formal and informal authority together for positive social change and progression. There is a distinct difference between leadership and management. Management involves power and formal authority given to a person in a high-ranking position within the organization for the responsibility and accountability using the organizational resources. On the other hand, leadership is based on the type of charisma that is exercised by the person. Leadership involves the relationship between people and communities in which influence and power are evenly distributed.
There are a few essential functions of leaders stemming from a system of communication, promoting and securing essential support functions, and being able to define the true purpose and the goals of an organization. The true definition of a leader will arise when traits are identified such as intelligence, dependability, energy, excitement, and socioeconomic status. I consider a leader to be an individual who institutes an organization's or group's goals and
missions and sets the standard that all the others should follow. Individuals can be either born with
a natural leadership ability, learn the skills they need from mentors or the example of others, or be
self-taught. The benefit of someone developing their understanding of leadership is that those self-
taught individuals are independent of someone else's ideas and insights into the duties and
responsibilities of a leader. They can build their path, methods, and ideologies that may differ from
standard practices. On the other hand, they will make mistakes others will learn to avoid. They will
probably have more trials and tribulations than someone with a mentor or who learned the skills.
After serving under many leaders, the most influential are those with many admirable qualities.
Individuals usually feel more comfortable with leaders who clearly understand the goals and are
open to feedback and ideas from those they lead. However, traits that appeal to people the most
are those that maintain an open line of communication.

My personal definition of leadership is an individual who shows exemplary practices, resilience,
great observation, and stewardship. I believe that leaders are born, made, and self-taught. Every
person is different and can have the gift to lead in different ways. I don't believe that there is only
one reason why they became leaders. If I had to name one trait imperative for effective leadership,
it would be to have emotional intelligence. In my opinion that is the foundation of what makes an
effective leader. It instigates growth, innovation, and creativity in the organization and team
members. It constantly motivates team members and leaders to put their best foot forward.

I concur with the notion that possessing charisma and influence are attributes of an effective leader. Self-sacrificing is a character trait that allows an individual to acquire a short time period of success. However, from a longevity perspective, it may cause health and well-being concerns.
Charismatic and influential leaders often have qualities that put people at ease in a naturalistic way. Actually, leaders that possess a charismatic and influential style can put individuals at ease by finding positivity in a bad situation. This can be accomplished by leaders without having to suppress their personal emotions. Psychologist relate charisma to body language, tone of voice, or simply being a good listener. Being charismatic is mostly related to emotional intelligence. Most charismatic leaders are skilled communicators and visionary leaders. Effective charismatic leaders usually articulate clearly with the assurance of a purposeful statement. Charismatic and influential leaders are effective at respecting and inspiring their teams to perform at their highest level of productivity. Additionally, charismatic leaders also make others believe in what they are doing in order to achieve organizational goals. These skills are essential for leaders in a diverse workplace and society.
In contrast, leaders who are self-sacrificing are those who work beyond the point of being productive by placing a metric or goal a priority over their health and well-being. As a result, self-sacrificial leaders place unnecessary pressure on their colleagues and employees. These type leaders must learn to make health a priority over job duties and role, if they anticipate life longevity. Self-sacrificing leaders are not helping the organization grow exponentially, due to personal health decline and working beyond the point of actual productivity. Such leadership behavior is not perceived as an effective quality.
In summary, charismatic leaders are known to develop select qualities in order to lead a diverse organization, which is pivotal in a diverse world during the twenty-first century. In order for leaders to become charismatic and influential, one must be able to boost their self-confidence in order to motivate organizational members. Leaders must also be passionate and allow his or passion to shine through. Charismatic and influential leaders are able to lead without fear by taking risk. This type of leadership is admired by members in the organizational group. Effective leaders demonstrate boldness as well as courage when growing an organization. Through it all, including challenging and difficult times, charismatic and influential leaders generally display a sense of humor to its organizational members. These type of leader characteristics (charisma and influence) draw people to leaders by listening more intently. It also creates that X-factor personality trait .

In the world of public management, there is a need to maintain a high level of performance. Performance in the public eye can be described as the display of competence, the demonstration of leadership, display of flexibility, and the ability to work in a team atmosphere. The actual performance, concerning management within an organization, begins with leadership. What is a leader? How does one define a leader? The abridged definition of a leader is considered to be someone within an organization who is able to get people/employees to do things they have never done before, perform outside of their daily routines, and be able to take some risks for the common good of the organization or the community.
Good leadership begins with the exercising of authority, whether it is formal or informal, in directing and coordinating the work of others, or by using a combination of formal and informal authority together for positive social change and progression. There is a distinct difference between leadership and management. Management involves power and formal authority given to a person in a high-ranking position within the organization for the responsibility and accountability using the organizational resources. On the other hand, leadership is based on the type of charisma that is exercised by the person. Leadership involves the relationship between people and communities in which influence and power are evenly distributed.
There are a few essential functions of leaders stemming from a system of communication, promoting and securing essential support functions, and being able to define the true purpose and the goals of an organization. The true definition of a leader will arise when traits are identified such as intelligence, dependability, energy, excitement, and socioeconomic status. Although these are not tangible items that leaders possess, they serve as a foundation for those willing to follow the leader. There are different kinds of leadership styles that are employed in organizations: authoritarian, transformational, transactional, and Laissez-faire. Depending on the type of person, the characteristics the person possesses, and how the organization functions, there will be a different style or approach to managing personnel and employees. The authoritarian leadership is one that dictates all the rules, regulations, and happenings inside of the organization, while also indicating to the subordinates all orders are to be carried out and moved forward for processing. In this type of leadership there is no room for discussion or rebellion against the leader.

I consider a leader to be an individual who institutes an organization's or group's goals and
missions and sets the standard that all the others should follow. Individuals can be either born with
a natural leadership ability, learn the skills they need from mentors or the example of others, or be
self-taught. The benefit of someone developing their understanding of leadership is that those self-
taught individuals are independent of someone else's ideas and insights into the duties and
responsibilities of a leader. They can build their path, methods, and ideologies that may differ from
standard practices. On the other hand, they will make mistakes others will learn to avoid. They will
probably have more trials and tribulations than someone with a mentor or who learned the skills.
After serving under many leaders, the most influential are those with many admirable qualities.
Individuals usually feel more comfortable with leaders who clearly understand the goals and are
open to feedback and ideas from those they lead. However, traits that appeal to people the most
are those that maintain an open line of communication.

My personal definition of leadership is an individual who shows exemplary practices, resilience,
great observation, and stewardship. I believe that leaders are born, made, and self-taught. Every
person is different and can have the gift to lead in different ways. I don't believe that there is only
one reason why they became leaders. If I had to name one trait imperative for effective leadership,
it would be to have emotional intelligence. In my opinion that is the foundation of what makes an
effective leader. It instigates growth, innovation, and creativity in the organization and team
members. It constantly motivates team members and leaders to put their best foot forward.

I concur with the notion that possessing charisma and influence are attributes of an effective leader. Self-sacrificing is a character trait that allows an individual to acquire a short time period of success. However, from a longevity perspective, it may cause health and well-being concerns.
Charismatic and influential leaders often have qualities that put people at ease in a naturalistic way. Actually, leaders that possess a charismatic and influential style can put individuals at ease by finding positivity in a bad situation. This can be accomplished by leaders without having to suppress their personal emotions. Psychologist relate charisma to body language, tone of voice, or simply being a good listener. Being charismatic is mostly related to emotional intelligence. Most charismatic leaders are skilled communicators and visionary leaders. Effective charismatic leaders usually articulate clearly with the assurance of a purposeful statement. Charismatic and influential leaders are effective at respecting and inspiring their teams to perform at their highest level of productivity. Additionally, charismatic leaders also make others believe in what they are doing in order to achieve organizational goals. These skills are essential for leaders in a diverse workplace and society.
In contrast, leaders who are self-sacrificing are those who work beyond the point of being productive by placing a metric or goal a priority over their health and well-being. As a result, self-sacrificial leaders place unnecessary pressure on their colleagues and employees. These type leaders must learn to make health a priority over job duties and role, if they anticipate life longevity. Self-sacrificing leaders are not helping the organization grow exponentially, due to personal health decline and working beyond the point of actual productivity. Such leadership behavior is not perceived as an effective quality.
In summary, charismatic leaders are known to develop select qualities in order to lead a diverse organization, which is pivotal in a diverse world during the twenty-first century. In order for leaders to become charismatic and influential, one must be able to boost their self-confidence in order to motivate organizational members. Leaders must also be passionate and allow his or passion to shine through. Charismatic and influential leaders are able to lead without fear by taking risk. This type of leadership is admired by members in the organizational group. Effective leaders demonstrate boldness as well as courage when growing an organization. Through it all, including challenging and difficult times, charismatic and influential leaders generally display a sense of humor to its organizational members. These type of leader characteristics (charisma and influence) draw people to leaders by listening more intently. It also creates that X-factor personality trait .

We know we want to create products which our customers find to be valuable. Whether we label it as customer-centric or product-led depends on how long we've been doing product management. There are three challenges we face when doing this. The obvious challenge is figuring out what our users need; the non-obvious challenges are in creating a shared understanding of those needs and in sensing if what we're doing is meeting those needs.
In this webinar, we won't focus on the research methods for discovering user-needs. We will focus on synthesis of the needs we discover, communication and alignment tools, and how we operationalize addressing those needs.

Leadership.
As Munroe defines it, character is an effective tool that
enables one to attain their potential and fulfill a specific life
purpose. It protects vision and leadership and strengthens the
inner life in a way that bolsters honor and integrity.
The flip side to this is “power with principle,” or an abuse of
trust that occurs in cases of leadership without character.
Such a leader lacks inner vision and has the potential to harm
those who placed them in a position of responsibility. Munroe
likens character to a personal alarm system that prevents one
from violating one’s value system and convictions.
3. Munroe cautions that no individual can safely consider him or
herself intelligent enough or protected enough to operate in
a leadership role without having developed character. Even
people with character may commit immoral acts and violate
others’ trust. The distinction is that they work to restore their
character in such circumstances. They do this through “falling
up,” rather than falling down.
