Research Methodology
In this study, we will analyze and discuss the research design, research environment, source of data,
sampling procedure, data collection, research instrument, and statistical treatment.
Research Design
This study defines what messenger affect and how can help their daily life style on the St. Peter College
of Technology, Senior High School, ICT strand.
Research environment
This study is conducted at St. Peter College of Technology, Sto. Domingo II Capas Tarlac. We will be
ask some of our following questions to the students that will be answer.
Sources ofData/Respondents ofthe study
This study focusing on the St. Peter College of Technology, Senior High School students, specifically the
Grade-12 student of John and Matthew. Age of 16-19 years old.
Sampling procedure
The Sampling Technique that will be used in this study is the Simple Random Sampling, a randomly
selected sample from a larger sample of population, giving all the individuals in the sample an equal
chance to chosen (Creswell, (2013). While using the Raosoft Sample Size Calculator, wherein the margin
error is 5%, the confidence level is 90%, the response distribution is 50% and lastly the population size is
60 Grade 11 Learners of 11-John and 11-Matthew. As a result, the total recommended sample size is 50
random Grade 11 Students. The participants in this study will be the Senior High School Students of the
St. Peter College of Technology from Information and Communications Technology (ICT), sections 11-
Matthew and 11-John. Furthermore the, participants in this study will most probably fall under the
“Teenager’s Category" since the standard age of Grade 11 ICT Students of SPCT ranges from 17 years
old to 19 years old.
