Title:
Internet Based Technology: Its’ Effects on Students’ Learning in Online Classes
Statement of the Problem:
1. What is the effect of technology on students’ learning?
2. What technology would greatly affect the students’ learning in online classes?
3. How often do BTLEd ICT students access the technology?
4. Is there a significant relationship between the use of technology and the students
learning?
Total Respondents:
The population of the BTLED ICT students is ninety-four (94). Thus, has a total of 94
respondents, twenty-seven (27) from 1st
year, twenty-nine (29) from 2nd
year and thirty-
eight (38) from 3rd
year.
Research Method:
Research Design
The research design used in the study is the descriptive quantitative design. The collected
data in the study will be used to describe and determine the effects of technology on students’
learning. The study will administered a survey to a total enumeration sample of BTLEd ICT
students of Zamboanga State College of Marine Sciences and Technology.
2. Research Locale
The study will be conducted at College of Education and Liberal Arts of Zamboanga State
College of Marine Sciences and Technology, Fort Pilar, Zamboanga City.
Respondents of the Study
This study utilizes total enumeration sampling design, where in that population of the

Research Instrument
This research instrument of the study is a modified and an adapted questionnaire in a survey
form of checklist and likert scale to gather the needed data. A systematically prepared form with a
set of questions designed to get and produce responses from respondents. In responding to the
likert scale questionnaire, the respondents will specify their level of agreement on the given
statement. The likert scale will be prepared by the researchers contains 5 likert items, each columns
3. have corresponding scale (strongly agree, agree, fair, disagree, strongly disagree) in which the
respondents choose their responses by checking mark. The scale is used to see how technology
effects students’ learning.
Validity and Reliability of Research Instrument
The validator is an expert in the field of research who will look to determine the relevance
and quality of the instrument. This study will be validated by a panel of experts before it will be
used to gather the data fundamental.
Data Gathering Procedure
First, the researchers will request for an approval letter from Office of the Dean to assess the
study and will distribute the research questionnaire to the designate respondents. The transcript of
the validated questionnaires will disseminate to the respondents after they acquainted on the
purpose of our study. In administering the questionnaire, the researchers will use the time allotment
for vacant to avoid distractions of class discussion. The students’ responses will give enough time
to answer the questions. The survey questionnaires will be retrieved, data to be classified, analyzed
and explained properly. Finally, the researchers will make a generalization and recommendations
based on the findings of the study.
Statistical Treatment of Data
The data to be gathered in this study will be subjected to the following statistical treatment:
4. Descriptive analysis, it will be used for analyzing the data collected from the respondents.
The data analysis refers to the use of percentage and means in describing the effects of technology
on the students learning.
Anova, to test the relationship between the use of technology and the students learning
such as; sex, age and year level.
