A function is a set of statements that take inputs, do some specific computation and produces output. The idea is to put some commonly or repeatedly done task together and make a function, so that instead of writing the same code again and again for different inputs, we can call the function.
Python provides built-in functions like print(), etc. but we can also create your own functions. These functions are called user-defined functions.
Other than some generic containers like list, Python in its definition can also handle containers with specified data types. Array can be handled in python by module named “array“. They can be useful when we have to manipulate only a specific data type values.

• the NHL has many teams,
• each team has a name, a city, a coach, a captain, and a set of players,
• each player belongs to only one team,
• each player has a name, a position (such as left wing or goalie), a skill level, and a set

• a game is played between two teams (referred to as host_team and guest_team) and
