Summer 2013 – Warranty Department, Habitat for Humanity
Oversaw and helped complete punch list items on recently completed homes built by Habitat for Humanity in the
NYC area.
8/12 to 8/13 – C & C Apartment Management
Operations Manager at Ocean Village located in Queens, NY. This property was acquired just a few weeks prior to
the devastation of Superstorm Sandy. As a result of the damage from this storm, this position became both a
humanitarian effort and a rehab of over 1,100 apartments. All of the units were gutted and rehabbed and as a result,
the entire complex was brought from 40% occupancy with the majority in arrears to 100% leased up within a year. I
acted as a liaison between management and construction and tenants. Additionally, as the property was under
stocked in the maintenance department, upon acquisition I oversaw inventory tracking and took over purchasing for
the property for janitorial supplies and negotiating contracts with laundry operators and uniform companies.
Specific responsibilities included:
• Attend weekly meetings to ensure coordination of timing of renovations and ensuring we have access
• Approved purchase orders and invoices through yardi
• Worked with tenants after the storm to ensure them management was doing all that we could and patiently
explain the efforts going into securing proper generators creating transparency during a difficult time
• Helped coordinate donations and worked with various aid organizations including Doctors without Borders
and the Army Corps of Engineers
Summer 2012 – Pool Director, Hampshire Country Club
Recruited guards and established pool procedures fees and promotions for the summer. Maintained and balanced
chemicals as well as arranging deliveries and shopping suppliers, redecorating around the pool. Provided the
schedules of coverage.
2004 – 2009 – Assistant Project Manager, L & M Development Partners
Responsible for producing RFIs and aiding in communication with architect working on the cornerstone sites in the
South Bronx, walked the site daily in order to keep a construction journal and reporting back to the project manager.
Worked with our partners on the Kalahari in Harlem to compile all necessary paperwork to secure LEED
compliance.
2000 – 2004 – Assistant Project Manager, Loewen Development
Responsible for oversight of trades in the field and creating punch lists and coordinating their completion. Assisted
with lease up and tenant review.
