Certification
Certificate of our Trailer
• The target age group for our trailer is
  teenagers/young adults aged between 15-25.
Therefore we have tried to ensure our trailer
follows the BBFC’s guide lines for the
certificate 15. So our trailer can reach the
widest possible audience. In the next few
slides I have analysed how our film follows the
BBFC’s restrictions for films of the certificate
  of 15 .
Discrimination, Drugs and Horror
• Discrimination - The work as a whole must not endorse
discriminatory language or behavior. There are no acts of
  discrimination within our trailer.

• Drugs - Drug taking may be shown but the film as a whole must not
promote or encourage drug misuse. The misuse of easily accessible
and highly dangerous substances (for example solvents) is unlikely
to be acceptable. No drug abuse appears within our trailer, nor is it
  referenced to.

• Horror - Strong threat and menace are permitted unless sadistic or
sexualised. The aspects of horror that appear in our trailer are
  neither sadistic or sexualised.
Imitable behavior, Language and
                   Nudity
• Imitable behavior - Dangerous behavior (for example, hanging, suicide and self-
harming should not dwell on detail which could be copied. Easily accessible
weapons should not be glamorised. Within our trailer a character suffers from an
eating disorder which could be seen as imitable behavior however this is not
glamourised at all and is shown to be very dangerous. There is also a hanging seen
however this is murder and not suicide.

• Language - There may be frequent use of strong language (for example, 'fuck'). The
strongest terms (for example, 'cunt') may be acceptable if justified by the context.
Aggressive or repeated use of the strongest language is unlikely to be acceptable.
The use of strong language is not present within our trailer

• Nudity - Nudity may be allowed in a sexual context but without strong detail.
There are no constraints on nudity in non-sexual or educational context.
There is reference to nudity within our trailer however no ‘skin’ is actually seen
    within the scene.
Sex and Violence
• Sex - Sexual activity may be portrayed without strong detail. There may be
strong verbal references to sexual behavior, but the strongest references
are unlikely to be acceptable unless justified by context. Works whose
primary purpose is sexual arousal or stimulation are unlikely to be
  acceptable.
There are no sexual themes or activity present within our trailer.

• Violence - Violence may be strong but should not dwell on the infliction of
pain or injury. The strongest gory images are unlikely to be acceptable.
Strong sadistic or sexualised violence is also unlikely to be acceptable.
There may be detailed verbal references to sexual violence but any
portrayal of sexual violence must be discreet and have a strong contextual
justification. There strong examples violence present within our trailer,
however the after marth of the violence is only ever actually in the trailer
as we decided to leave the actually physicallity of the violence out.
