COURSE OVERVIEW
Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation gives an
understanding of Calibration and Commissioning
of Pressure, Level, Density, Flow and Temperature
Transmitters. It allows you to connect transmitters
to PLC and program a sequence to control them
according to the logic in the Ladder diagram.
Future Pathways include Certificate III in
Instrumentation and Control OR Diploma of
Electrical and Instrumentation
On completion of your Certificate IV in Electrical
Instrumentation , you will receive a Nationally
recognised qualification.
COURSE DURATION
2 Weeks
COURSE STRUCTURE
Face to face delivery, combining theory and
practical training and assessments. Mixed
delivery mode may be available with some units
and need to be negotiated with the Trainer. A
simulated practical workshop will be conducted
with specific units.
ELIGIBILITY
To enrol in Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation
you will require:
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• A valid Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• A valid ID (e.g., Drivers Licence)
• 1 year experience
