COURSE OVERVIEW
This qualification provides competencies to
supervise selection, installation, commissioning
maintenance and testing of explosion-protected
equipment and systems for control and
monitoring of plant and processes. The
qualification provides competencies in working
with explosion protections techniques with
elections in how they apply to coal mining, gas and
dust atmospheres.
COURSE DURATION
5 Days
COURSE STRUCTURE
Face to face delivery, combining theory and
practical training and assessments. Mixed
delivery mode may be available with some units
and need to be negotiated with the Trainer. A
simulated practical workshop will be conducted
with specific units.
ELIGIBILITY
To enrol in Certificate IV in Electrical Instrumentation
you will require:
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
• A valid Unrestricted Electrical Licence
• A valid ID (e.g., Drivers Licence)
• 1-year Instrumentation experience
