CCTV System
Closed Circuit Television: Also known as
video surveillance, it is the use of video
cameras to transmit a signal to a specific
place, on a limited set of monitors.
Types Of CCTV System
CCTV Systems are broadly divided into Two
Types. There are,

•Wireless CCTV System

Wired CCTV System
• Wired CCTV is a range of security products that are ideal for
Residential and Commercial Building Application by Installing a CCTV
System.
• You can protect a property and improve your pace of mind.
• CCTV Cameras act as a visual deterrent allow you to computer.
Wireless CCTV System
• Wireless security camera are closed – security television cameras that
transmit a video and audio signal to a wireless receiver through a
radio band.
• Many wireless security cameras require at least one cable or wire for
power, ”Wireless” refers to the transmission of Video/Audio.

Outdoor Camera
• Its used in Outside Places.
• They are mostly used for entry and exit points with limited night
lighting.
IR Day Camera/ Night Camera
• These are used for high alert areas security areas were surveillance
needs happened day and night.
• These Cameras are used by military personal, in parking a lot and high
security zones.
Dome Camera
• These cameras can be rotated and tilted manually. These cameras are
used in public places.
PTZ Camera
• These types of CCTV cameras allow a person controlling the
surveillance of an area to move cameras remotely, usually with an
RF(wireless) or wired controller
• Most amenable cameras allow the person monitoring it to move the
camera from:
 Pan- right to left
 tilt – up to down
 zoom- close up zoom
Bullet Camera
• Cylindrical
• Tapered shape
• Similar to that of a rifle bullet
• Outdoor use installed inside protective casings, which protect against
dust, dirt , rain, hail and other harmful elements.
• Require long distance viewing
• Fixed or varifocal lenses.
Advantages Of CCTV
• More security.
• easy to maintain.
• Assist the police in crime.
• Increase the security level.
Disadvantages Of CCTV
• Limited camera view
• Maintenance
