CCM Platform for Real-Time Communication_1
We live in an era of fast-paced digital transformation, and modern consumers
expect access to find information when they need it, find solutions when they
need it, and find both for themselves. I'm here. Self-service, social media, live
chat, video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration have been
facilitated by the development of real-time communications.
In this article, we discuss the function of real-time communications in
Customer Communication Management (CCM) and how it delivers a seamless
customer experience. First, let's take a closer look at the concept of real-time
communication.
Real-time communication is defined as a means of sharing information and
interacting with people over network connections as if they were face-to-face.
Digging a little deeper into the technical side, this is any live (real-time)
communication that does not include transmission delays. Typically, a peer-to-
peer connection with minimal latency, data from real-time communication
applications are delivered in the form of a Connected path between source and
destination.
What is real-time communication?
As explained above, real-time communication is defined as online
communication that occurs in real-time. Data/information is sent directly and
instantly from the sender to the recipient and is not stored en route to its
destination.
A phone call can be considered a classic example of real-time communication.
This is in contrast to time-shifted communication, which sends data, typically
waits for a period for the data to be received, and waits another period for a
response to be received. Snail mail and e-mail are good examples of this type of
communication.
Both sides can respond to each other using two methods. One type is half-
duplex where the user can only send or receive at any given time, but not both.
The other is full-duplex and can transmit and receive at the same time.
Application of real-time communication
Real-time communications applications and solutions are available in nearly
every industry. Financial services, contact centers, law firms, healthcare,
education, and retail can all leverage real-time communications applications to
improve processes.
However, one of the major areas where real-time communications is flourishing
is customer communications management. CCM technology aims to leverage
the power of real-time communication to create a more dynamic and
interactive experience for customers.
Let's take a look at some key keywords related to real-time communication.
WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication)
One of the big keywords I've seen related to real-time communications is web-
based real-time communications. This is an HTML5 technology that enables
plugin-free communication on your browser using peer-to-peer connections.
WebRTC technology is becoming more standardized and many browsers have
integrated WebRTC technology within their ecosystem.
Customer communication is the most vital process of any organization.
Optimizing how you communicate with your customers should be on top of
your business goals. Integration of a CCM solution into your tech arsenal can
make the job easier. This Cloud-based SAAS Technology can lead to an
interactive and seamless customer experience, which leads to a boost in share of
wallet.

CCM Platform for Real-Time Communication_1 We live in an era of fast-paced digital transformation, and modern consumers expect access to find information when they need it, find solutions when they need it, and find both for themselves. I'm here. Self-service, social media, live chat, video conferencing, unified communications, and collaboration have been facilitated by the development of real-time communications. In this article, we discuss the function of real-time communications in Customer Communication Management (CCM) and how it delivers a seamless customer experience. First, let's take a closer look at the concept of real-time communication. Real-time communication is defined as a means of sharing information and interacting with people over network connections as if they were face-to-face. Digging a little deeper into the technical side, this is any live (real-time) communication that does not include transmission delays. Typically, a peer-to- peer connection with minimal latency, data from real-time communication applications are delivered in the form of a Connected path between source and destination.
  • 2. What is real-time communication? As explained above, real-time communication is defined as online communication that occurs in real-time. Data/information is sent directly and instantly from the sender to the recipient and is not stored en route to its destination. A phone call can be considered a classic example of real-time communication. This is in contrast to time-shifted communication, which sends data, typically waits for a period for the data to be received, and waits another period for a response to be received. Snail mail and e-mail are good examples of this type of communication. Both sides can respond to each other using two methods. One type is half- duplex where the user can only send or receive at any given time, but not both. The other is full-duplex and can transmit and receive at the same time. Application of real-time communication Real-time communications applications and solutions are available in nearly every industry. Financial services, contact centers, law firms, healthcare, education, and retail can all leverage real-time communications applications to improve processes. However, one of the major areas where real-time communications is flourishing is customer communications management. CCM technology aims to leverage the power of real-time communication to create a more dynamic and interactive experience for customers. Let's take a look at some key keywords related to real-time communication. WebRTC (Web Real-Time Communication) One of the big keywords I've seen related to real-time communications is web- based real-time communications. This is an HTML5 technology that enables plugin-free communication on your browser using peer-to-peer connections. WebRTC technology is becoming more standardized and many browsers have integrated WebRTC technology within their ecosystem.
