What Can Parents Do To
Help Students on Test Day?
• Make sure your child gets plenty of sleep the night before
the test.
• Help your child as much as possible to clear his/her
schedule of other activities that might make them overly
tired during the testing window.
• Make sure your child eats well for dinner the night before
the test, and eats a nutritious breakfast on the morning of
the test.
• Encourage your child to read the questions carefully,
avoid careless errors and review their work on the test.
• Make sure your child is on time to school the day of the
test because students cannot enter the testing room late.
