Since I have been learning more about technology and taking online classes, my
neighbor has enlisted me in helping to improve her business. Ruth is my seventy
year old neighbor, who is hoping to update some of her technological devices as well
as use technology to organize financial data of the business. The thought of learning
about new technologyscares her and she trusts me to be able to point her in the right
direction. Currently, Ruth runs a greenhouse where she sells flowers and some
vegetables.
The first thing Ruth shows me is her computer. She is utilizing her computer as
permanent storage for pertinent banking documents that she has acquired over the
years. She uses her computer to research new popular plant species to cultivate for
the season and see what her competitors are offering. Right away, I can tell that her
computer is outdated. She even mentions that her computer is from the early 2000
s. By technology standards, her computer is ancient. She complains that her
computer is slow and will often freeze. With a faster computer and updated
software, she will be able to expedite her normal tasks executed on the computer.
She also mentions some issues with her keyboard and monitor that serve as

All of the different tears have the same symptoms for the most part, as I explained
before. There are many different sports that one can find this injury in, especially
when it is located in the shoulder. Sports such as baseball, softball, tennis, football,
frisbee, basketball and even hockey are just some of the many sports that doctors
have found this injury to be common in. This past year, a boy on my brothers
hockey team tore his shoulder labrum at the beginning of the hockey season. He
was not able to practice, nor play in games during this time. Surgery for his injury
was performed in November, just as the hockey season was kicking off. His

He was originally in a sling for the first month. Doctors protocol had him icing

Function Of Environmental Reflection
I would like to begin by saying that I have learned a great deal of materials in Dr.
Malpede s Environmental Study 300 course, that have incremented my understanding
on environmental topics. We did projects, read articles and books, and wrote
reflections about issues related to climate change, ecofeminism, the sixth extinction,
and the bad choices of food habits. However, the two topics that were the most
appealing to me was ecofeminism and climate change. These topics strengthen my

brainstorm about the causes and constructing my own thoughts based on what I have
learned. I appreciate have taken this class because it also has taught me to educate
myself on the candidates that run for election, because President Trump has
discredited all programs and rules that protect the environment. I value the teachings
of this course because it has strengthened me as a learner, voter, and a member of
society.
During the course of the semester I expanded my knowledge in numerous topics. I
learned about pollution, cancer, diseases that are caused by the pollution, the
hurricanes that formed in a fast period of time because of climate change. For
example, Hurricane Maria along with many others, was a reflection of the
devastation that is a caused by climate change, leading to the explanation that
Greenhouse warming causes a significant formation and intensity of stronger
hurricanes. Southern California wildfires were formed because of the low humidity
spread out to coastal areas, casing the vegetation to become more flammable. The
experience of discussing these topics in class after each news video not only
allowed me to view climate change deniers as a real threat but also improved my
ability to understand hurricane, wildfire and other disaster. I
