Casting is important in all media areas because it is a key way of appealing to the
target audience. If a character is cast wrong it can bring down the whole production
due to them looking out of place which can be distracting.
A cast can make or break a production so going through severally people that could
play one part is better than settling for once that may not work as well as hoped.
