The filming took place in a small shed in a rural village to make it seem isolated, and other shots were filmed away from the village. There were four crew members who each took on multiple roles - one worked on sound and makeup, another directed and operated camera while also playing a character, another handled lighting, sound and also played a character, and the fourth played one of the main characters. During post-production, one crew member provided voiceover while the other three aligned clips, added music and sound effects, and incorporated titles to enhance the realism.
1. Filming Updates
Set/ Location:
The set of the filming was a small shed in a rural village. This was to make it look secluded
because that would be a perfect setting for if the things that were acted out were real. In
others films things like this would have taken place in an abandoned warehouse, like in
Legend.
The rest of the filming took place in the same village except it was away from it to get the
establishing shots and first part of Wilson walking.
2. Crew at Work:
There were 4 crew members working on the film opening during the filming. I was working
on sound, working on make up and the camera. Jack was directing, working on the
camera and played Detective McCoy. Callum worked on lighting, sound and played
Makenzie Gray. Duane was Wilson Akwuegbu.
3. During post-production Duane provided the group with voiceover for the opening but it was
mainly only three of us that worked on it. Jack and Callum helped find music and sound
effects to add to the realism of the opening; they also helped with the alignment of the clips
and the speed of them. I did the basic alignement and adding in the titles. I think the fact
that we focused on making one rather than working on separate ones then choosing the
best was a better idea because it helped with time and made it the best it could be.
