under graduate and post graduate level were surveyed for this research. A structured questionnaireusing five
point scale was developed and data collected was statistically analyzed for a level of significance (α) of 5%
using a five point Likert scale. A total of 72 student responses from three institutions of higher education were
received. The study identified sixteen parameters/features important to students studying in colleges. On as
many as eight of the sixteen parameters, majority of students are not satisfied with college education. These
include: (a) Facilities for medical emergencies; (b) Industry exposure; (c) Placement support; (d) All round
development; (e) Opportunities for co-curricular activities; and (f) Facilities for sports. Besides these areas, the
following areas also require attention on priority: (a) Overall experience of students; and (b) Practical
knowledge of subjects taught. These represent the challenges that must be addressed by institutions of higher

Results of the study revealed the beneficial effect of in service
training programs plans on the Professional Advancement of Teachers. The study also revealed the good perception of teachers relating to the professional development of theirs.

She started her career as a software recruiter in 2012, and developed an interest for business development, talent enablement and innovation which later got her setting up the concept of Software Community Management in ASML, and to Developer Relations today. She holds a bachelor degree in Lifelong Learning and an MBA specialised in Strategic Human Resources Management. We recently hosted the much-anticipated Community Skill Builders Workshop during our June online meeting. This event was a culmination of six months of listening to your feedback and crafting solutions to better support your PMI journey. Here’s a look back at what happened and the exciting developments that emerged from our collaborative efforts.
A Gathering of Minds
We were thrilled to see a diverse group of attendees, including local certified PMI trainers and both new and experienced members eager to contribute their perspectives. The workshop was structured into three dynamic discussion sessions, each led by our dedicated membership advocates.

- 1. “I can, therefore I must”: Case-BasedTeaching as an opportunity to excel. Abstract Teacher exists because of students are there in the class, and students exist because of The teacher . The ASSOCHAM report(April 27,2016) says that only 7 per cent of the MBA graduates are actually employable. And around 340 B-schools are expected to wind up by 2016. Low education quality coupled with the economic slowdown, campus recruitments have gone down by a whopping 45 per cent.The flaw lies with the negligible hands-on training provided atTier 2 and 3 colleges and this poor training does not meet the needs of the corporate world. Even the quality of IIM/IIT students passing out now compared to last 15 years has come down due to the quality of school education. The faculty is also another problem as few people enter the teaching profession due to low salaries and the entire eco-system needs to be revamped. The case method teaching in classrooms is great. Which deals with real-life examples and enlightening the grey area. It is valuable to learn to work through solving a problem in all areas and learning how they came together in a holistic manner instead of just in one area.
