BIG BAZAAR with the French giant Carrefour. We
do know that Future Group dominates the Indian
markets but has negligible presence globally.
• Therefore a few points were jotted that may be
used to expand and strengthen the plinth in the
global retail race.

1. Unlike other retailers, Carrefour does
not spend enormous amounts on
advertising and marketing.
Instead, the engage in major CSR (

Instead of disposing of the unwanted stock, they can call
it off in the name of charity or work for the betterment of
the supplier( farmers and their families).
