This paper discusses the different properties of composite materials under static testing condition to
determine the effect of aging due to change in temperature and moisture content. Effects on tensile,
shear, impact, stiffness and fatigue parameters are studied. For each property, application specific
composite materials are taken into consideration with different stacking sequence and number of
plies. Different samples of these are then introduced to different hygrothermal environments for
example: temperatures ranging from 50 degree Celsius to +50 degree Celsius or kept in wet
conditions for 24 hours at different temperatures of 21, 37 and 50 degree Celsius etc. Different
tests are performed based on the material property to observe a change from the initial unaged
specimen. To study every property a different test method is discussed. A final comparison for each
property between the unaged and aged specimen is shown in order to see the property s dependence
on temperature and moisture. This comparison highlights the temperature and moisture dependent
properties and showcase a trend. Properties like tensile modulus, shear modulus, shear strength,
flexural stiffness and fatigue life show a decrease with increase in temperature and moisture content

SeaWorld: a park known for shows with sea lions, otters, dolphins. Though perhaps the most
important factor is the daily Killer Whale presentations. The first SeaWorld park opened on March

Some speak of certain attacks and others speak of how the whales were treated in general. One
trainer speaks about how when the whales didn t listen to commands or perform the right tricks, not
one whale was punished, but they all were. Some of the punishments included starving the
whales and isolation. Besides the varies forms of punishments, the trainer spoke about how
being kept captive was a punishment itself. Another trainer told her views on SeaWorld. Issues
pertaining death were pushed aside and appeared not important. The trainer spoke about how
workers at the park weren t told specific news and were kept in the dark. Those with higher
positions at the park kept things from trainers and others who worked at the park, most likely
afraid for news to surface. If news broke about an attack or a death, their revenue would drop and
audience numbers were plummet. By hearing from almost every person that was interviewed that
what SeaWorld did, and still does, is morally wrong, viewers become aware of just how much has
been kept from the public. The audience gets the idea that not only do the whales suffer, but people

This move thrusts me into a whirlwind of uncertainty; my dad was my hero and now, I do not
know what to think. I knew of my father as a giving man. He dedicated so much of his time and
resources to help those less fortunate and unfortunately, it was at the peril of his family. I do not
