1. ECG-
An electrocardiogram (ECG) is a simple test that can
be used to check heart's rhythm and electrical
activity in the heart. Sensors attached to the skin are
used to detect the electrical signals produced by heart
each time it beats.
A STRESS TEST,
Also called an exercise stress test, shows how heart works
during physical activity. Because exercise makes your heart
pump harder and faster, an exercise stress test can reveal
problems with blood flow within your heart.
A stress test usually involves walking on a treadmill an
exercise stress test, electrodes are taped to chest to
detect your heart's rhythm. A nurse or technician will
watch your heartbeat blood pressure and breathing are
monitored.
CARDIAC MRI ( Magnetic resonance
imaging )
Is performed to help physician detect or monitor
cardiac disease by: evaluating the anatomy and
function of the heart chambers, heart valves, size of and
blood flow through major vessels, and the surrounding
structures such as the pericardium (the sac that
surrounds the heart).

2. Heart CT scan
A computed tomography (CT) scan of the heart is an imaging
method that uses x-rays to create detailed pictures of the heart
and its blood vessels.
 This test is called a coronary calcium scan when it is done to see if you have
a buildup of calcium in your heart arteries.
 It is called CT angiography if it is done to look at the arteries that bring blood
to heart. This test evaluates if there is narrowing or a blockage in those
arteries.
 The test is sometimes done in combination with scans of
the aorta or pulmonary arteries to look for problems with those structures.

Blood tests for heart disease
Blood cholesterol levels
Total cholesterol. This is the amount of your blood's cholesterol content. A
high level can increase your risk of heart disease.
Total cholesterol should be below 125 milligrams per deciliter (mg/dL)
normal 125 mg/dL to 200 mg/dL
Low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol. This is sometimes called the
"bad" cholesterol. Too much LDL cholesterol in your blood causes plaque to
buildup in your arteries, which reduces blood flow. These plaque deposits
sometimes rupture and lead to major heart and blood vessel problems.
Normal Less than 100mg/dL
Triglycerides. Triglycerides are another type of fat in the blood. High
triglyceride levels usually mean you regularly eat more calories than you
burn. High levels can increase your risk of heart disease.
triglyceride level should be less than 150 mg/dL (1.7 mmol/L).

3. Cardiac enzymes ―
also known as cardiac biomarkers ― include myoglobin,
troponin and creatine kinase.
Creatine kinase-MB (CK-MB) is a form of an enzyme found
primarily in heart muscle cells. This test measures CK-MB in

Angiography
is used to detect abnormalities,including narrowing
(stenosis) or blockages in the blood vessels (called
occlusions).
This is done by injecting a radio-
opaque contrast agent into the blood vessel this dye makes
the coronary arteries visible on x-ray pictures. This helps
doctors see blockages in the arteries.
