Several genetic disorders can be prevented with prompt & early diagnosis &
treatment.
For example, phenylketonuria (PKU) ( it is a rare inherited disorder that
causes an amino acid called pheny-lalanine to build up in the body. ) to

up their understanding about;
1. Genetic approaches to the therapy of genetic & complex diseases.
2. Care management of adults with childhood genetic disorders
3. Care management of persons with adult genetic disorders such as
Huntington disease. ( It is a rare, inherited disease that causes the
progressive breakdown (degeneration) of nerve cells in the brain.)
