44. Format of Examination The CAPM® Certification Examination is computer based and is comprised of 150 multiple-choice questions. The allotted time to complete the examination is Three hours. Out of 150 questions answered, 15 questions are Pre-test questions, which will not be used for scoring. Please note that pre-test questions are selected randomly by the computer and are not known by the candidate when taking the exam - so effectively candidates have to answer all the 150 questions to the best of their ability. Since 15 out of 150 questions are not used for scoring, so effectively, 135 questions are used for scoring for the exam.
