- © NET-CHALLENGE When creating a Business Community, a strategy must be defined. The strategy must consider several issues
- © NET-CHALLENGE Based on the BC strategy, the capacities are defined We have to take care of the BC capacity based on the market demands
- © NET-CHALLENGE Here we list the main tasks during the capacity management, grouped by BC Member’s tasks and BC.
- © NET-CHALLENGE How to measure capacity means to ensure that all the measures are made in the same way (same sources, etc) - Required capacity is the capacity needed to achieve a production schedule - Demonstrated or effective capacity is the rate of output that can be expected based on experience, taking into account current and planned levels of resources such as manpower, overtime and the number of shifts - Planned capacity is the demonstrated capacity plus or minus the expected results of known capacity adjustments - Theoretical or maximum capacity is the capacity that could be achieved if specific capacity actions were taken
