When the 'FX' button is pressed, two windows appear allowing the user to select a VST or VSTi effect to alter recorded audio. The user chooses the 'BATTERY ACID' effect and experiments with its tools, changing the audio to have an echo noise and sound like it is coming from a walkie-talkie radio. For another audio clip, the user uses the 'dblue Glitch' effect and manipulates its tools, transforming the audio to sound like a DJ scratching a record where only half of the sentence can be heard.
