Digital Domain software was used to create the interactive menu for Thor and the Tupac hologram at Coachella due to its incredible CGI quality and best use of HD, but it is not available for public use. RenderMan software was used for Disney/Pixar films like Finding Nemo and has very good quality for 3D shapes while being available for public use, but it is quite difficult to run and expensive. Digital Domain is preferred for its realism, but cannot be used publicly like RenderMan.

If Digital Domain was available to the public, I would choose it over RenderMan for its sheer
realism when it comes to special effects. The CGI has an amazing quality and takes it to
another level when compared to its rivals.
