- 2. Can you have rich Christians? Learning intentions: • To describe and explain key Christian teachings on money. • To consider how motivations behind money might affect people’s actions and beliefs. Success criteria: • To complete the table describing key Christian teachings. • To answer an exam practice question.
- 3. Money, money, money Christians believe that it is the love of money, not money itself, that is bad. This lesson, we will be exploring key teachings about money.
- 4. Task – The Market Place In groups, you are going to create a storyboard on one key Christian teaching about money. On your storyboard, you can only have 15 words in total, but you can include: Pictures Symbols Letters Numbers To show what your teaching says about money.
- 5. Task – The Market Place Now that you have created your poster, one person from your group is going to stay with your poster to explain it, the ‘expert’, the others are going to move around the room and learn about different teachings on money. Make sure you fill in the middle column of your table! Then, go back to your group, and teach each other what you know.

- 9. Exam practice: ‘e’ question This is an 8 mark question, which asks for your opinion and what a religious believer thinks. The examiner will be looking for two well- argued views containing PEE, and religious evidence.

Give reasons or evidence for your answer, showing that you have thought of more than one point of view. Make sure you have included a religious view in your answer. Underline the key words. - 11. Peer assessment 1. Read through your partner’s answer, using the Onion to purple pen spelling and punctuation. 2. Tick off where they have met the success criteria, and give them a mark out of 8. 3. On the other side, write at least 2 strengths and 2 targets for your partner.
