This document describes different types of camera movements including tracking/dolly shots which move the camera on wheels to follow the action, steadicam shots which give a jerky feel to make the audience feel present during point of view shots, zoom shots which can be dramatic if done quickly or dreamy if done slowly by zooming towards or away from the subject, crane shots which look down at the action from ground level to bird's eye view or vice versa, pan shots which pivot the camera to show the action, trombone shots which track in and zoom out or vice versa, and provides examples from CSI and Touch of Evil using crane shots, pan shots, and track shots.
