Managing the Impact and Cost of the IOT Data Explosion - Data Centre Converge...Panduit
For the past 10-15 years we have seen dynamic transformation in technology and key focus areas of the Data Centre to support evolving business needs. From Availability, Consolidation, Virtualisation, Energy Management and more recently Big Data, Mobility and Cloud. Facilities had to reduce the PUE, IT Compute had to become increasingly efficient and with reducing OPEX.
There never has been a greater need for having a Converged Infrastructure to connect and support the Data Centre. In this presentation Panduit introduce and discuss a Yahoo case study of real energy management reduction of up to 50%.
Panduit Physical Infrastructure Manager™ (PIM™) Software Platform and PViQ Intelligent Hardware combine for a comprehensive data center infrastructure management (DCIM) solution. This intelligent software and hardware provides data center professionals greater staff productivity and visibility of all data center assets along with their connectivity, locations, and relationships. PIM™ solutions allow you to discover, visualize, model, control, report, predict and manage all physical data center assets including the ability to simply deploy new assets and plan capacity for future growth. PIM™ solutions can also help control energy costs, reduce risks and increase operational efficiency.

The Art of the Pitch: WordPress Relationships and SalesLaura Byrne
Clients don’t know what they don’t know. What web solutions are right for them? How does WordPress come into the picture? How do you make sure you understand scope and timeline? What do you do if sometime changes?
All these questions and more will be explored as we talk about matching clients’ needs with what your agency offers without pulling teeth or pulling your hair out. Practical tips, and strategies for successful relationship building that leads to closing the deal.
Connector Corner: Automate dynamic content and events by pushing a buttonDianaGray10
Here is something new! In our next Connector Corner webinar, we will demonstrate how you can use a single workflow to:
Create a campaign using Mailchimp with merge tags/fields
Send an interactive Slack channel message (using buttons)
Have the message received by managers and peers along with a test email for review
But there’s more:
In a second workflow supporting the same use case, you’ll see:
Your campaign sent to target colleagues for approval
If the “Approve” button is clicked, a Jira/Zendesk ticket is created for the marketing design team
But—if the “Reject” button is pushed, colleagues will be alerted via Slack message
Join us to learn more about this new, human-in-the-loop capability, brought to you by Integration Service connectors.

Neuro-symbolic is not enough, we need neuro-*semantic*Frank van Harmelen
Neuro-symbolic (NeSy) AI is on the rise. However, simply machine learning on just any symbolic structure is not sufficient to really harvest the gains of NeSy. These will only be gained when the symbolic structures have an actual semantics. I give an operational definition of semantics as “predictable inference”.
All of this illustrated with link prediction over knowledge graphs, but the argument is general.

"Impact of front-end architecture on development cost", Viktor TurskyiFwdays
I have heard many times that architecture is not important for the front-end. Also, many times I have seen how developers implement features on the front-end just following the standard rules for a framework and think that this is enough to successfully launch the project, and then the project fails. How to prevent this and what approach to choose? I have launched dozens of complex projects and during the talk we will analyze which approaches have worked for me and which have not.
Let's dive deeper into the world of ODC! Ricardo Alves (OutSystems) will join us to tell all about the new Data Fabric. After that, Sezen de Bruijn (OutSystems) will get into the details on how to best design a sturdy architecture within ODC.

The framework is mostly written in Java, with a Python binding so that Python developers can access PowSyBl functionalities as well.
What you will learn during the webinar:
- For beginners: discover PowSyBl's functionalities through a quick general presentation and the notebook, without needing any expert coding skills;
- For advanced developers: master the skills to efficiently apply PowSyBl functionalities to your real-world scenarios.
PHP Frameworks: I want to break free (IPC Berlin 2024)Ralf Eggert
In this presentation, we examine the challenges and limitations of relying too heavily on PHP frameworks in web development. We discuss the history of PHP and its frameworks to understand how this dependence has evolved. The focus will be on providing concrete tips and strategies to reduce reliance on these frameworks, based on real-world examples and practical considerations. The goal is to equip developers with the skills and knowledge to create more flexible and future-proof web applications. We'll explore the importance of maintaining autonomy in a rapidly changing tech landscape and how to make informed decisions in PHP development.
This talk is aimed at encouraging a more independent approach to using PHP frameworks, moving towards a more flexible and future-proof approach to PHP development.

System Release PTP 800-05-00 introduces the PTP 800i high power all indoor solution,
which delivers high performance, cost effective, reliable backhaul and backbone solutions
over long distances.
The PTP 800i all indoor solution operates in:
• 6 GHz IRFU covers following band
Cambium Networks PTP Release Note: System Release PTP 800-05-00
3. Cambium Networks PTP Release Note: System Release PTP 800-05-00
o FCC L6, U6 and 7 GHz
o IC L6
• 11 GHz IRFU covers following band
o FCC 11 GHz
o IC 11 GHz
PTP800i support following different radio setups:
• IRFU 1+0
• IRFU 1+0, ready to upgrade to 1+1 Tx MHSB with Equal Splitter
• IRFU 1+0, ready to upgrade to 1+1 Tx MHSB with Unequal Splitter
• IRFU 1+1, Tx MHSB with Equal Splitter
• IRFU 1+1, Tx MHSB with Unequal Splitter
• IRFU 1+1, Tx MHSB with Rx Spatial Diversity

3.2 Support of Switched Spatial Diversity
System Release PTP 800-05-00 introduces switched spatial diversity for ODU-A, ODU-B
and IRFU deployment. It is also compatible with both Fixed modulation and Adaptive
Modulation.
Spatial Diversity improves link availability by providing each end of the wireless link with
two observations of the signal which has been transmitted from the other end of the link. It
is particularly effective in combating multipath fading caused by atmospheric effects such as
scintillation and ducting. Both these effects can occur to a significant degree in microwave
links. It also combats fading caused by reflections from water.
3.3 Support of QoS based on Network Layer Classification
System Release PTP 800-05-00 introduces QoS control where frame classification is based on
following network layer priority schemes:
• IPv4 DSCP
• IPv6 DSCP
• MPLS TC priority
3.4 Support of ASTRO® UEM and Wireless Manager
System Release PTP 800-05-00 is compatible with ASTRO® Unified Event Manager (UEM)
(starting with UEM release A7.9) for Fault Management integration, which complies with all
Information Assurance (IA) requirements required as part of UEM A7.9 system release. This
includes SNMPv3, HTTPS, Identity-based user accounts, Strong Password enforcement rules,
remote authentication user RADIUS-CHAP, and Syslog/local Logging.
System Release PTP 800-05-00 is compatible with Cambium Wireless Manager for all fault
management and configuration management.

Network Time Protocol (SNTP) capability.
The feature consists of:
• Support for dual NTP servers.
• Rules for selecting between the servers.
• Optional authentication of time messages using DES or MD5.

authentication method for RADIUS.
3.8 Support of Comprehensive Logging of Configuration Changes
System Release PTP 800-05-00 introduces comprehensive logging of the following system
changes:
• All configuration changes executed using the web-based and enterprise SNMP
management interfaces
