Call for Expression of Interest
     Open University Learning Design Initiative (OULDI)

   Evidence base: Connection: Representation: Collaboration


             Project Overview
   The University of Reading is a partner in the JISC funded “Open University Learning Design Initiative” project. The
   project aims to develop and implement a methodology for learning design composed of tools, practice and other
   innovation that both builds upon, and contributes to, existing academic and practitioner research. We are inviting
   New Lecturers to join this initiative and engage with us and the wider HE
   community. You will share your new experiences of designing the curriculum;             Toolbox
   pilot new approaches, resources and tools; receive support to complete your http://cloudworks.ac.uk/in
   projects and receive a reward of £500 in your SDA. We are particularly dex.php/cloudscape/view/1
   interested in supporting PGCAP projects designing and evaluating an 882
   example of curriculum development, or learning and teaching We have made openly
   innovation.                                                                          available a range of

                                              Cloudfests and Design summits             trialled across a variety of
                                                                                        educational contexts and
                                                                                        continue to be developed in
                                                                                        response to feedback and
                                                                                        review.



                                                                                        Design Challenge



   The objectives of the initiative at the University
   of Reading are:
 1. To review existing curriculum design processes including describing
 and modelling the curriculum design process where possible;
 2. To work with academic teams to identify the most appropriate stages
  in the curriculum design process where support is needed and the best
  method of offering this support to improve quality.
  3. To pilot learning design methodologies, tools and
  techniques that have already being developed and to

Call for Expression of Interest Open University Learning Design Initiative (OULDI) Evidence base: Connection: Representation: Collaboration Project Overview The University of Reading is a partner in the JISC funded “Open University Learning Design Initiative” project. The project aims to develop and implement a methodology for learning design composed of tools, practice and other innovation that both builds upon, and contributes to, existing academic and practitioner research. We are inviting New Lecturers to join this initiative and engage with us and the wider HE community.
