• Cadbury started in 1824, nearly 200
years ago, when John Cadbury
opened a store in Birmingham,
selling chocolate products.
• In 1875, Cadbury produced their
first Easter Egg and also their first
milk chocolate bar after Richard and
George, John’s sons, took charge
after their Dad retired.
• It’s first ever TV advert was in 1955,
on ITV, based on hit TV show
Twenty Questions.
• And, in 2007, the infamous Cadbury
Gorilla advert premiered.
• In 2008, the Cocoa Partnership was
set up to help farmers across the
world in their cocoa bean
production.
