3. PROCESS OF LAYING UNDERGROUND CONDUIT
 Receiving hole at entrance pit.
 First stage is pivot hole.
 Second stage is (reaming) enlarge the hole.
 Product or the casing pipe in the enlarged hole by
way of drill stem.
 Drilling is done with viscous fluid known as drilling
fluid, which is a mixture of bentonite or polymer.

cutting and maintains the proper viscosity of
the fluid.
 Drilling fluids are used to remove the
clogging.
 Clogging bore creates back pressure on the
cutting head, slowing production.
