The group decided to create a documentary about cyber bullying for 15-21 year olds. They chose to broadcast it on BBC Three from 7-8pm because BBC Three's target audience matches theirs and it often covers difficult issues affecting teenagers. Researching the topic and station informed the choices.

3.  For new documentary program we have
decided to focus on the topic of cyber
bullying. This was because as a group we
thought it would be the most relatable topic
to our target audience. Also it is a growing
concern all over the world with cases
happening all the time.

4. As a group we made the decision to pick BBC Three as through doing my
research into the topic I discovered that BBC Three was the best broadcasting
station as their targets were to aim to 16-34 year olds and to broadcast “brave
documentary's”. This was a good choice as it had our chosen age range. Also
BBC Three do a lot of documentary's on other topics that affect teenagers such
as Alex : A Life Fast Forward which covered a documentary on teenager with a
terminal illness that was common in teenagers.

5. As group we decided that 15-21 year olds
would be a suitable age range as before this
age range not many children on social
networking sites. We also chose this age range
as at these different ages people have heard of
cyber bullying can be most related to it.

6. This was decision that took a lot of
consideration. And after thinking about it as a
group we thought lots of teens watched TV late
in to the night but, to cater to all the younger
ages whilst appealing to all of our selecting
age range we decided 7:00 would be suitable
for a start time.
